Eight years ago I made a joke to a coworker that I could ace my university's required ethnic studies course by not going to lecture and just picking the answers that blame white people on exams.

I got a B- in the course, I suppose my answer to the final homework assignment question: "did this course make you more or less of an anti-racist?" was incorrect.
