The meals are actually really good, fun to cook (I am actually getting better at cooking just from doing these meals), and just as delicious but cheaper than going out to eat. Fedex'd to my door every Sunday. It's actually very convenient and fun.

With regards to the three flavors of manslaughter (my laymen terms, not minnedishu legal terms) I suspect the best case scenario is for the jury to hang and for there to be a mistrial.
If one lone juror decides to look at the law and the facts, as presented, there is no way the state overcame the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
I guarantee you that there is at least one juror (probably most of them) that had their minds made up to convict before the trial started and had no interest in listening to anything other than the ridiculous circus side show the state put on for their benefit.
Unless that one lone juror who looked at the facts and the totality of the evidence also has balls of steel for their own personal sacrifice at the altar of the woke gods, they will probably be willing to compromise and vote guilty on the assault and lessor manslaughter charge to try and safe face with the arson squad (it won’t save them, but they might think it will).
Things are looking mighty dark for Chauvin, but the conviction has a good chance of reversal on appeal.

ELI5... I have what I think it means, but I'd like a more simple explanation.
Essentially what the judge was saying is that if they convict Chauvin, the defense can appeal that decision and request a mistrial because of Mad Maxine's comments, jury intimidation. The judge denied the the defense's request for a mistrial right here and now but said that if the defense were to bring this up again at the appeal they may have a case for a mistrial.

On one hand, letting the jury come to a verdict helps Chauvin, because the prosecution won't screw up as badly during round 2, when they know which witnesses backfired the first time around.
On the other hand, this chew-out could make the jury feel like it's safe to convict Chauvin even if they wouldn't otherwise. Were they present to hear this?
