I don't expect politicians to love their constituents, or their country any more.

But if they can't find it themselves to do that, I do expect them to fear their constituents, and country.

They don't. And that's at the heart of arguably all problems emerging from both politics and government.

"They'd string me up if I did this," should be one of the first concerns these politicians have when thinking about what they say, and do, in an official capacity.

But here’s what makes it worse: if Trump said those things then he would have been impeached and indicted by both Dems and Republicans. It’s only the Democrats who can do whatever the hell they want and get away with it. They are a Uniparty and the Republicans are controlled opposition. The Uniparty controls the police and military and neither of whom are willing to enforce the law when it is broken by anyone left of center.

Politicians should fear the people, we have the money and the ammo, they should choose wisely what they will receive.

They don't care anymore. They're funded by special interests, and the people have no balls.

They picked her to do it because she’s too stupid to realize she’s being used. Dumb, racist bitch.

How every single Republican congressman reacts to this is a litmus test. Every single one of them better vote or call for her resignation. Of course, we know Nancy Pelosi isn't going to bring it to a vote or allow Maxine Waters to suffer any consequences. That's not the point. We want to know what represenatives in the House are really representing us and which ones are RINOs. The Republicans better fn make Nancy Pelosi totally own her protection of Maxine Waters and every Republican that doesn't, needs to go in 2022. It doesn't matter if Democrats keep the House if Republican cannot even unite over this one issue.

Shouldn't Biden reward her and appoint her as Minister of Propaganda ! Every Dictatorship needs one.

Even the most out-of-context quote of President Trump does not compare to this elected representative's conversations captured and available to see unedited.

Term limits.

That fact that Maxine Waters was elected/selected/installed in the first place should have been a warning decades ago.

You mean what a massive amount of useless cops there are. Feds and locals are the errand boys of corruption. All of them combined can't seem to put a single grand jury together to make a small dent in corrupt polititions.

Exactly. It is lawless for certain groups of people

This should not be. We should all be equal.

Corporations have too much power and control.

The government is in bed with Corporations.

Major problems because of this

The government works for the Corporations, not the People

What Maxine said is 100% protected speech.

Guys, let's not try and apply the left's same bullshit standards. It's not illegal speech, but I would say morally wrong and inappropriate given the times.

It was not protected speech.

"We've got to stay on the street, and we've got to get more active. We've got to get more confrontational."

While protesting may get confrontational, legal protesting has nothing to do with getting confrontational. Meaning you have a right to be in an area expressing your views, but that does NOT involve a right of confronting anyone, because that is then harassment at the very least, which is not allowed by any right.

She was asked: “What do you think about this curfew tonight?” referring to an 11 p.m. curfew the city of Brooklyn Center had administered for Saturday night in an attempt to prevent violence, arson and looting.

Here’s how Maxine Waters responded: “I don’t think anything about curfew. I don’t know what curfew means. Curfew means that ‘I want you all to stop talking. I want you to stop leading. I want you to stop gathering.’ I don’t agree with that.”

So essentially, she was encouraging people to violate the curfew. You can't say stuff like "Curfew means I want you to stop talking and gathering", while also saying, "We've got to stay on the street and get more confrontational", And pretend like the totality of that isn't an incitement of rioting.

Remember, legal protesting does not actually involve a right to confront anyone. This is often why protests need permits.

"You don't need a permit to march in the streets or on sidewalks, as long as marchers don't obstruct car or pedestrian traffic. If you don't have a permit, police officers can ask you to move to the side of a street or sidewalk to let others pass or for safety reasons. Certain types of events may require permits."

She already said "We've got to STAY on the STREET". Staying would mean disregarding curfew. A street is an illegal place to protest, heck even sidewalks are an illegal place to protest if they obstruct pedestrian traffic, without a specific permit. Even if they didn't do any of that (even though we know they will), she is already guilty of encouraging people to protest illegally without a permit and to violate curfew and to get "confrontational". That is all the elements of inciting a riot.

Considering the clear expected result of a not guilty verdict, she couldn't even feign to imply that she had no idea her words would encourage/incite rioting. That's like saying you didn't intend for anyone to stampede out after yelling fire in a theater. No one could reasonably feign to be that negligent of their actions, definitely not someone in her position, and especially when we've already seen this happen more than a dozen times over the last few years. The overwhelming consensus of expectation is that a riot has a high likelihood of taking place, therefore her actions contribute to a push toward that likelihood.

It is 100% protected speech... like it's not even a debate tbh.

"Revengeance" vs "Confrontational". Revengeance is clearly stronger.

Yeah, and it's even worse than that, because, think about it, let's say she is removed from Congress. What about the others who endorsed her or did the same thing?

We are couped.

The Democrats are handling this wonderfully. They say what they're thinking and then laugh in our faces when we act like our indignation has any effect on them.

We're playing checkers and they're playing Global Thermonuclear War.

The fact that Chauvin's judge exonerated Maxine today is a sign that we no longer have a country. "Maxine Waters opinions are just that, opinions" this cocksucker.
