Ok I watched the entire video you linked. He never named her or says his supporters were to blame. "To those demonstrators who infiltrated ... and engaged in acts of violence and destruction." And he was right...there were demonstrators who got violent but that was a tiny group and there's no evidence that all were real Trumpers (meaning it could have been BLM/Antifa pretending to be protestors). I knew he wouldn't smear Ashli.

Glad to get the full context of what President Trump said and overall it is fairly proportioned given that many facts were then and still are being misrepresented by the litterbox fake news and none more so than NPR as represented by the NPR slanted and false coverage. Curious why there is no investigation into the use of force in the killing of Ashli Babbitt and if it was justified. Wonder when the smear news will retract their false news they ran for days that Officer Sicknick was bludgeoned to death by a Trump supporter???

It truly is the absolute worst of the liberal media propaganda complex. It’s neck and neck with the New York Times but NPR wins by a hair due to its status as a taxpayer funded leftist propaganda organ.

ZeroG1515 20 points ago +22 / -2

I used to religiously listen to NPR. I was young, dumb, inexperienced, and brainwashed to believe "Republicans bad". I had a boss tell me NPR was propaganda and I just wrote him off. Then one day NPR interviewed Ben Shapiro at one of their affiliate locations in California. That was my entry into conservatism. I'm now slightly right of center and have dove into poltical commentary and arguments. It was a slow slide away from NPR to the point I literally cannot listen to National Pravda Radio anymore. It makes me sick.

9
IHEARTGOODCOMMUNISTS 9 points ago +9 / -0

NPR interviewed Joel Pollak of Breitbart before the 2016 election and he called them out for their liberal bias, but was far, far more polite in doing so than I would have been. I shit you not, the next day NPR said on air that they had received so many complaints from their absolutely brain dead liberal audience that they were no longer going to have live interviews and would now provide “context” to the comments of the rare conservative they may interview (there is not one host or “journalist” employed by NPR who is not a hardcore leftist, so an interview is the only time you would, in theory, hear anything right of center on NPR).

I stopped listening shortly thereafter but every once in a while as I’m flipping through the radio stations in my car I’ll listen for a few seconds and without fail I’ll hear some liberal talking point or narrative in those few seconds. NPR is simply unbelievable and just blatant propaganda.

2
ZeroG1515 2 points ago +2 / -0

yeah until that interview of Ben Shapiro I had not heard a true conservative on their programs. It's "our" radio station but they only have one angle on every issue.

7
RussianAgent13 7 points ago +8 / -1

I even still listened to them on the way to work a few years ago. I was skeptical of media bias, and would just roll my eyes at their coverage of Trump. Although I wasn't a fan of his I could tell they were probably being unfair and mentally translate their stories into what probably really happened.

But I didn't actually realize how deceptive they were until I broke out of the bubble. It's not just bias - it's fake news.

7
ZeroG1515 7 points ago +7 / -0

its Pravda radio. It is literally propaganda and it is so hard to see inside the bubble. I fully understand the struggle and often I relate to leftists by saying I used to be one. I was in occupy groups and went to protests and shouted nonsensical slogans like a bleating sheep.

Brian Sicknick- Natural causes Ashli Babbitt- Shot by Capitol police

Two more were natural causes, heart attacks if I remember right. The fifth one was, I think, supposedly trampled to death, but I’m not 100% on that.

The only intentional killing was Ashli Babbitt, killed by police in a non deadly force situation.

1
Karma_Bus_Route_20 1 point ago +1 / -0

2

Oh okay so what we already knew from the beginning. Which means the left can use the excuse that the pepper spray cause the stroke, because that's how strokes work.

2
DiscoverAFire 2 points ago +2 / -0

The only clarity now being offered is that the previous story - bear spray caused his throat to close up - is false. I expect the left to jump to "bear spray causes strokes" as soon as anyone brings this up.

He twittled his thumbs and lost the last flame of freedom on this planet. He was completely ineffectual at stopping the steal, which he had every means to do.

-1

-1
figgle -1 points ago +3 / -4

I wasn't in the capitol. I wasn't even in DC. I was awaiting my leader to do something. Anything. Give an order. He had people nationwide ready to act in their local areas. Hold their governors and their constituents responsible. Take the voting centers, gather evidence, and prove fraud. Anything would have been better than nothing. He chose nothing.

Insurrection act would have been useful when Trump still had some loyalists in Military control positions. Biden cleaned house day one.
