No general officer is neutral. As I said before, the military is civilian run, and accountable to politicians only. Somewhere along the way, folks have been led to believe that the military is the savior of America, this is simply not true. I am former military and I understand this. You have been brainwashed to believe that to love America, you have to love the corporate govt and its military.
Myself and my whole family served. Several were combat Marines who (if they were still alive) would be disgusted at what our country has become.

Biden turned away two US Destroyers headed into the Baltic in support of Ukraine. So if that happens take two Democracies off the strategic map. All under Milley’s watch!
I do love America. Not the corp DC govt, but America. I myself served proudly as well, but now question why anyone would now, based on what I know after retiring. None of us knew much when we went in decades ago about politics, and what the actual role of the military is. The military isnt what we are led to believe it is.

The military, organizationally speaking, will do as ordered. The only hope is that the individual service member will do the right thing. I have faith in the last part only. I know most of the troops do love America, but brainwashing military propaganda is very real real. There is a reason for compartmentalization.
