what kind of grown-ass man with any self-respect has time or wherewithal for hanging out with addicts as they actively use? you couldn't pay me enough to subject myself to that kind of trashiness. if you find yourself in that position, let alone enough for it to be a problem like you describe, you've already failed at life, son. lie with dogs...
It's already happening in my state, if you are with someone that ODs and dies and you didn't call 911 you can be charged for their death.
