kek at the post headline, OP

also, F for America

68
TDSisReal [S] 68 points ago +68 / -0

Thanks. This guy is my rep and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. You would think a Democrat communist party member trying to assassinate him and his colleagues would have woken his fucking ass up.

35
Johnfox13 35 points ago +35 / -0

with 📣: I think they are playing unfairly! gets shot at gets beaten gets kicked off committees gets stripped of any rights I’m going to write a letter!

22
DrinkLikeAGilmore 22 points ago +22 / -0

Maybe it was just the initiation into the club

8
Ghostof_PatrickHenry 8 points ago +8 / -0

He did tweet out "this is the type of rhetoric that got me shot" after Maxine flapped her gums about the Chauvin trial.

9
TDSisReal [S] 9 points ago +9 / -0

Stunning and brave

3
NomadicKrow2 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think a way to counter Maxine would be "If they get too confrontational, defend yourself. Defend your property. When the protestors become rioters, do not let them kill you or beat you. You have the 2nd Amendment on your side."

2
N900mixalot 2 points ago +5 / -3

What are we missing here?

What about this tweet shows he hasn't been fighting to address this issue?

-22
BasicKekinomics -22 points ago +5 / -27

Disappointed in what exactly?

That he took a few seconds to call out the democrats on twitter?

34
MocksFordComma 34 points ago +35 / -1

+1 for the headline

82
MadMaxUSMC 82 points ago +83 / -1

Great Steve, you guys going to wring your hands and do some more photo ops again?

48
Fluffy_Indigo 48 points ago +48 / -0

This is how slow (retarded) the republicans are. Even after being shot it took him 5 years and tons more violence to even mention the issue.

2
TheWinningNeverStops 2 points ago +2 / -0

They aren't retarded they are part of the scam. It appears the people here are the retards who haven't caught on to the good cop bad cop play.

2
N900mixalot 2 points ago +4 / -2

What are you talking about? He's been failing on this for years now.

56
NoFucks2Give 56 points ago +58 / -2

Yeah he has always been pretty sanguine about nearly dying violently from Leftist terrorism. “Oh well.”

Could have easily been a MASSACRE, and he is like “but a massacre did not happen, so....”

He is missing some normal human response. Kind of dead eyes.

33
TrumpTrainForever 33 points ago +33 / -0

Obviously the dude has cucked out. He realizes he keeps rocking the boat too much he won’t make it through the next shooting.

People are afraid to put it all on the line and risk everything.

The problem is, when you are dealing with the type of fucking animals that the dems are, you have to be willing to put it all on the line to get shit done.

2
N900mixalot 2 points ago +3 / -1

He's still in Congress and is extremely vocal.

What is his voting record?

Not sure what you expect him to do but this smear campaign seems to be working.

12
Dereliction 12 points ago +12 / -0

People are tired of words. They are tired of the lack of real push back. They want action and real resistance to this bullshit.

0
N900mixalot 0 points ago +0 / -0

Yeah, I don't disagree but shouldn't we be looking at Scalise's voting record and pointing that out instead of falling for these obvious smear campaign coordinated pile-ons?

Scalise of all people ... maybe I'm missing where he caved on anything.

This sudden attack on Scalise doesn't pass the smell test. McCarthy has a record of caving, and Tim Scott, too. But I don't see where Scalise does.

5
Dereliction 5 points ago +5 / -0

We should, but I think these pile-ons are entirely (or mostly) organic. And they really aren't about Scalise specifically, but when we see him saying things like this instead of after they tried to gun him and the field of Republican senators down, it's just a bit much to stay quiet over. Where was the outrage and serious push-back then? Complete clown word regardless of his voting record.

2
TDSisReal [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly. Thank you.

2
MemechineGun 2 points ago +2 / -0

dude should non stop push for investigations into left wing violence. he needs to endlessly law fare any and all people who could of been within 10 degrees of the shooter.

he needs to play it as the left would, the victim forever, he cant speak with out first mentioning how he survived a leftwing terror attack.

Any and all legislation needs to be met with "how will this prevent another left wing shooter from attacking more GOP members?"

that is how you do it. not shake it off.

0
N900mixalot 0 points ago +1 / -1

I'm just not seeing where he hasn't done exactly this, except for the lawfare part but unfortunately that is being blocked by Rhinos, which is precisely why it is up to us to run with his statements, including this tweet, to our local reps and force them to deal with it.

This is a ground fight, we need to stop putting so much in federal level representation.

We can fix that later but we need to basically lock down our state and local representation and USE the 10th Amendment protections we are all granted.

44
Anon331717 44 points ago +45 / -1

Fucking republicans had the chance to fix this democrat problem. But they didn’t. Fuck them too.

20
Spicy_maymay 20 points ago +21 / -1

We don't have a Democrat problem. We have a deep state problem. The congressional republicans are not on our side, almost nobody is on our side. We have no leadership and little representation. They are all working for themselves now.

9
Eugene_Beastly 9 points ago +10 / -1

We have a democrat problem. They are trying to ensure we can never win again.

We need to stop worrying about the constitution and do the same thing. What motive do we have to let democrats win? There isn't one. Their party and their supporters should be destroyed.

6
disgruntled_patriot 6 points ago +6 / -0

If by "destroyed" you mean "murdered down to the last until only their orphans remain."

1
Eugene_Beastly 1 point ago +1 / -0

And then we'll turn the orphans in MAGA death squad soldiers, yes.

2
hilboggins 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not a Democrat problem, a Uni-Party problems.

Republicans are just smoke and mirrors to make you think you have a choice...

2
Eugene_Beastly 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well yeah Republicans absolutely suck. Ideally we'll start getting AF candidates

30
REDMARAUDER 30 points ago +32 / -2

This is a Republican from the 90s and early 2000s completely unaware of the political situation in 2021.

We are at war & losing because we are too good natured

19
deleteDems 19 points ago +19 / -0

in other words we are just normal people being pushed to the brink by the radical left

2
dirtymikeandthebois 2 points ago +2 / -0

Too good natured? If there weren't money in it for the playing the role he's playing he would be playing a different tune.

10
monkeycat2010 10 points ago +12 / -2

It means that Democrats are NO longer the party of the people. They are the party of the ENEMY.

11
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 11 points ago +11 / -0

4

Communists aren't people. It's okay to kill them.

1
Eugene_Beastly 1 point ago +1 / -0

Who is the enemy?

10
finscreenname 10 points ago +11 / -1

And yet look at all the douche bag Reps that voted to impeach Trump. They all need to have unfortunate boating accidents.

9
OKRancher 9 points ago +9 / -0

This should be stickied. It’s pointing out the obvious truth that a lot of people can’t see.

8
Awakened 8 points ago +9 / -1

And you fuck heads were supposed to stand with Trump. Idiots.

3
N900mixalot 3 points ago +3 / -0

Scalise didn't?

8
Gerbaski 8 points ago +9 / -1

He's a bit of a slow learner isn't he?

7
IncredibleMrE1 7 points ago +8 / -1

Mic drop, OP. Perfect headline.

7
Francis 7 points ago +7 / -0

Democrats have some infighting, but when it comes to defending their own against conservatives, they'll glady stand together.

5
Smurfection 5 points ago +5 / -0

by the way OP, what's the deal with ripping on Scalise? He wasn't shot by a congressmember and the house didn't take a vote after he was shot.

The House did just vote, I mean all the Democrats in the House, did just vote for riots and violent intimidation to control the U.S. Court System. Do you think Scalise should have shut up? Do you think Scalise shouldn't have made this point? What exactly do you think Republicans should have said or done?

Or are you just a grumpy guy that is going to act like a defeatist no matter what?

3
TDSisReal [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh, are we beyond criticizing our own?? You act like this is some kind of smear job. The title is exactly what came out of my mouth when I read his fucking tweet. Most people get what I’m saying but you seem to slide past the obvious point, you’re talking about a vote today.

If that was me on that baseball field and I got shot, I would have been nothing but fire and fury about every fucking thing the Democrats said since June 14, 2017. I would not have rested until Bernie Sanders AOC and the rest of these violence inciting bastards in Congress were held accountable for their actions. I would not have stopped, I would not have surrendered and I certainly wouldn’t have waited four long years to put in a strongly worded letter. He has done essentially nothing to use his assassination attempt against them. If he doesn’t call out every single fucking Democrat, every single fucking time they say something fucking outrageous, I’m disappointed. I voted for him and I have a right to be disappointed in him.

2
Smurfection 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's a fair criticism. it's a bit too strong for me given that Steve Scalise was staying within the bounds of what Kevin McCarthy was doing. You may be right that the more extreme approach was warranted but for now, I'm happy that we got something from the Republicans. I'm taking it as a good sign that for once in my life, Republicans actually stuck together and slammed the Democrats over an obvious extremist and destructive position. We're going to need this type of unity if we're going to move forward and win in 2022 and get Trump back in office in 2024.

2
TDSisReal [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Agreed. My point was that we should have had this rock solid unity when we had Trump and complete control. They did almost nothing until we lost power, now they’re together.. just far too late in my opinion. It better be like this from now on..

2
Smurfection 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree. I could go on and on all day about the disunity, back stabbing, infighting and ridiculous virtue signaling by RINOs. I'm still angry at McCain for his down vote and have considered taking a crap on his gave, not that I'd ever be that vulgar. However, we can't undo the past. You're right that we need to see this unity going forward. The censure vote was a little thing but it gives us something to build on.

-23
BasicKekinomics -23 points ago +2 / -25

There's been a lot of shitting on Scalise on this site lately.

Not sure why he's been singled out.

0
Smurfection 0 points ago +4 / -4
  1. A lot of lefties join to try to demoralize Republicans and get us all on the Republicans are all worthless bandwagon for obvious reasons.

  2. Unfortunately, some of these debbie downers are conservatives that just can't be happy about anything ever and like being depressed losers. They actually feel better about themselves if they can lash out and say everything is going to pot because it's easy, requires no congnitive skills and they get to blame everyone else.

  3. Stormfags are hoping to incite a Civil War because the think they have some magic trick that'll make them the new leaders It won't because history tells us, idiots who think this way and succeed in getting their revolution and/or Civil War don't live to see the end of it and it rarely ends up in a better government.

2
TDSisReal [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Smurfection, I’ve been around since the TD days, you know me well, we’ve always gotten along. Are you accusing me of these things you’re listing here??

2
Smurfection 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ha! No. I'm not saying those three things apply to you. I am saying that we can win more bees with a spoonful of honey than a barrel full of vinegare, as the saying goes.

Excuse me if you took my comment to you as a personal criticism. It wasn't meant to be that way. I just would like to get back to bashing Democrats, liberals, lefties, commies and Marxists more and a less bickering with the details when it comes to our own team. I see yesterday's vote for censure by Republicans as a win because it makes ever single Democrat not only own everything Maxine Waters has been doing and saying, but also the riots and CRT.

In the TD days, we were fun, had great ideas, were likely to welcome everyone on board as long as they wanted to MAGA and projected a bright vision of America's future. I feel that this forum has slipped into a sort of depression. That's not attractive. We need to offer rays of hope, not despair.

None of my comments are really directed at you because I know you're really not that way. I didn't mean to imply that you are. I like your comments and posts and maybe I worded my own misgivings too harshly.

I hope we can stay Frens.

2
TDSisReal [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree. I love slamming lefties and of course we can stay Frens. I just took it personally when you said ‘hey OP’. It’s all good. No problems here. My deal is we just need to call them out when they’re weak in the knees. Hold them to a higher standard. We should expect more unity and backing from our elected officials on these important issues. Thanks and hope you’re doing well.

2
Smurfection 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm glad we're going to remain frens and I am so happy we cleared this up because I don't ever want a fren pede to think I'm disrespecting them and I appreciate the opportunity to mend the offense!

2
TDSisReal [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Me too. A simple misunderstanding, Fren :)

-23
BasicKekinomics -23 points ago +3 / -26

Amren.com got stickied twice in the past few days.

That's not a good sign.

2
Smurfection 2 points ago +3 / -1

No, it's not but I'm not the moderator of this site. I do know that those who think the constant drumbeat of equal and opposite BLM for so-called conservatives is productive, is a ninny. The fact is, stormfags want to burn this country down just as much as antifa does. The only difference is stormfags think they'll get a new white paradise utopia and antifa thinks they'll get a Communist utopia. To both of them......It didn't work the first fifty times so it's not going to work when a bunch of dolts like them try it, either.

However, I honestly think a lot of the stormfags are Democrat operatives, like a Shareblue operation. They're trying really hard to make sure this site stays marginalized.

4

Steve Scalise is hitting the nail on the head again today! This could not be more clear - Democrats want the racial violence because this is how they think they win votes.

4
Not_your_King 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can anyone argue that the left isn't filled with people who don't mean anything they say. We need politicians who realize that. Anytime they try to feint anything, don't give them anything put pure animosity. All it has been this whole time is 1 Power grabs, and hurting who they don't like.

We need to realize that they are true enemies of not only our country but the very reality we all live in.

4

Welp, Steve and the rest of the "pretend to be conservatives" party could learn a thing or two from the Dems: at least they rally unanimously around even their most batshit cunts, while we can't even get ours to rally around the POTUS on bogus charges.
