Once the city paid 37 million dollars the verdict was sealed.

His fate was sealed at jury selection. 50% black and 60% women jurors. No way he was ever going to be found innocent by a jury that aren't his peers.
However he has some good chances for appeals.
He will lose an appeal. Prior to January 6 I would have had hope. But now it’s clear the justice system is compromised.
