I was thinking this before, how can you get multiple forms of a murder charge on one body?

You're probably wondering how double jeopardy effect this. But it really doesn't since this is tripple jeopardy, and no such thing exists. So... There's no standing... Or... Whatever.

It's a triple negative, so two cancel out and you're left with ONE negative which means RACIST WHITE MAN BAD. Common core math.

How can you be guilty of unintentional murder, and intentional at the same time?

empiretc 7 points ago +7 / -0

how can you die of asphyxiation (being choked) and have 98% oxygen in your blood?

I'm thinking that the great new unknown, COVID-19, could have been a serious factor in this death.
Just look at all the 1,000s of Hospitallized COVID-19 (a.k.a. Wuhan China FLU ) patients on oxygen.
Any mucus in the lungs could have significantly decreased Floyd's capacity to breathe, even in the back seat of the Cop car.

It is amazing that really wasn't brought up in the trial at all. And, the way the prosecution totally dismissed the amount of drugs in his system was completely asinine.

George Kirby is the only person in America that died "with" covid, and not "from" covid.

Yes,
If that was how and when that % was obtained then it is a little deceiving.
I would have liked to have known the complete blood gas results, as CO2 and all important CO results could have a bearing.
He is said to have been saying "I can't breathe" while in the back of the Cop car, so the prone position and alleged knee to the neck seemed not to have been a major factor.
Unless George Floyd was lying at that time while in the Cop car.

With all this COVID-19 flying around the last year, I wonder how many cases of carbon monoxide were misdiagnosed as COVID-19?
All the labs. were almost certainly all COVID-19 all the time, so no one was testing for blood gases or even thinking of CO poisoning.
Now there's more than a lawsuit or two to be had in the hospitals if you can get a hold of some blood test the hemoglobin for preferential CO binding.

Yes,
COVID-19 is different than CO poisoning.
But a lot of the symptoms are the same:

  • breathing difficulties
  • mental confusion
  • blood clots

A small number of patients could have been misdiagnosed, especially in winter, as COVID-19, instead of CO poisoning.
The patients could have been given supplimental oxygen, and/or dreaded intubation, and not have been properly treated, in the case of CO poisoning, with stints in a hyperbaric chamber.

I was wondering about that because they seem contradictory.

A poor jury instruction might be another avenue for appeal.

No, Floyd was murdered, killed, and deaded by a RayCis-gendered white male.

"The jury came back with its verdict after about 10 hours of deliberations over two days, finding Chauvin, 45, guilty on all charges: second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter."

This TRIPLE verdict could effectively be violating Chauvin's civil rights as defined under the U.S. Constitution, as he cannot be, by Law, found guilty of 3 Separate counts of murder when only one person died.
Oh, did all three of these allegedly murdered people vote in 2016?
You mean Biden could have had 3 more votes if Floyd was still alive?

You're the only one arguing this and your comments are incorrect on the subjects I know well. You're also spending a lot of effort spamming this thread to give a false sense of consensus.

How about you give us a single, specific, apples to apples example.

Then the Juriors, and the Judge, are idiots.
He can't be guilty 3X.
Pure logic.

The Judge, and the Prosecutor are basterdizing the rule of Law.
The job of the Juriors is to apply the Law, and the Law says that only one count of murder can be applied to Chauvin, as he allegedly only committed one murder.

The extraneous counts should not have been accepted by the judge.
The judge should have said to the jury, go back and pick just one.

Just because it happens all the time doesn't mean it's right, proper, or legal.

3
Razorba1 3 points ago +3 / -0

I thought the same thing

soysaucenuts 2 points ago +2 / -0

I’m glad you said that. I was very confused by this. How can someone be guilty of all three? They are three distinct charges, not subsets of one another.

Just shut the fuck up with your racist questions and let us kill the white guy.

2
canadianhere 2 points ago +2 / -0

Frankly I'm surprised they didn't somehow find him guilty of murder one as well.

There was no evidence of second degree either. Didn't stop the jury.
