This is the answer! Most of my teachers were liberal assholes, my dad always told me that as long as I did everything with respect, I would never be in trouble by him. He raised me to speak my mind and not bow to the re-education my school was attempting to force. You are raising a girl who is confident in who she is and what she believes! She will go far!

It's likely that the school will threaten disciplinary action, because they won't like having their authority challenged. That's not the end of the world, but it's important for protesters to respond like "we're protesting because we don't acknowledge your authority to enforce this rule in the first place. Fuck y'all gonna do."

If you ran on taxpayer-funded private-school vouchers for deserving students, I would still vote for you, and I would be happy to pay that portion of my taxes.
It's both amazing and sad at the same time how your daughter has more courage to stand up for her rights than many grown adults. If only there were more of us who had the same courage. Not saying there arent any out there, but there needs to be more.
4th grader has more guts than most of us have been showing lately. Proud of her and a bit disappointed in myself (but at least I've never worn a mask).

According to Wikipedia, every state except California, Hawaii, Iowa, Vermont and Wyoming still require it.
