Good breakdown.

Some people still won’t understand what %99.998 survival rate means. Would be helpful to equate it to 2 deaths per 100,000

live3ordye 16 points ago +16 / -0

0-17 2 deaths per 100,000 (1 in 50,000)

18-49 5 deaths per 10,000 (1 in 2,000)

50-64 6 deaths per 1,000 (1 in 166)

65+ 9 deaths per 100 (1 in 11)

Nice.

Now do obese people in those groups and see how much lower it is for healthy people. Now calculate the deaths by the same standards as other causes of death.

And remember, these numbers are only for the infected. Count the population that has never even been infected and the chances of a random person in that age group dying of COVID is even more astronomically slim.

Very good point. I wasn't even thinking about that.

All of those are still too high. They're claiming 75% infectiousness of asymptomatic when it's 5%.

The previous numbers published were more accurately showing 0.00002 for under 19, 0.0002 for under 50 etc.

Right on, I'll throw an updated one in a few.

By that logic, you can apply "how safe vaccines are" because out of the millions who've taken the shot, only a few percentage-wise have had adverse reactions, or have died.

Numbers don't always matter-- principles do.

Live free not because some percentage told you. Because freedom matters.

Just because the numbers show that vaccines are largely safe, doesn't mean you have to take it. Not being a GMO mutant matters.

You sure can! And if you do, you'll find that the vaccine is about 40x more dangerous than the yearly flu vaccine. Which, when compared to the dangers of the 'rona, means there's really no reason for any healthy individual under 50 to take a vaccine, as it'll be more dangerous than the 'rona itself.

If you're a fat slob over 60, then you are probably willing to take the risk of the experimental vaccines.

It's all about informed decisions, and personal responsibility.

Guarantee the 50-64 age group dead were all huge fat slobs with plenty of co-morbidities. Many, many people in this age group are letting/making their bodies go to shit instead of putting in the work to stay fit.

This is the death rate with one or more co-morbidities.

Pre existing conditions. Obesity.

What’s the death rate for healthy people? Zero?

TGNX 3 points ago +3 / -0

No, just scoot that decimal point over one digit.

More interesting is looking at the recent recovery rates. The mortality numbers spiked early on but with better treatment options a year later, recovery rates are so much higher even with rising case rates
