At the worst offending church, which I was also a member of, I printed out a firewall log from the past month and with a sharpie, wrote a key for who's computer was represented by an explicit IP address. I made a dozen copies and handed it out at the monthly elder board meeting. I told them I was unable to continue to support the church in their current state and got accused of lying. Only the pastor was included in the meeting and he basically accused me of being the "accuser of the brethren" . I was young, and it hurt pretty bad to catch a guy I looked up to and respected nose deep in pornography, then have him call you satan for catching him. He is no longer a pastor. The 4000 member church no longer exists and the building has been demolished and replaced by a neighborhood. The sad part is that during that time, most of the churches I worked in had the same issue. Some didn't.
I'm sorry you had to experience that. It's always hard to have the view of someone you looked up to shattered. I know a lot of members of many churches struggle with pornography, we always seek to be better and we believe in the doctrine of repentance and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. That really is a shame they accused you of lying when you brought it up rather than admitting their flaws and seeking to make amends.

Funnily enough, the church my wife switched to is a Baptist church but she has expressed how much she likes it because it’s more in line with the tenets of the religion. I can see how a lot of Baptist churches would get swayed, but apparently not all of them yet. Thankfully.
The good thing about Baptist churches is they don't have an official organization on the level of other denominations. If you don't like the way your church is going you can just find another one.

Here we are 15 years later and people who don't believe it is possible to change genders and won't accommodate this delusion are losing jobs, getting cancelled, blacklisted and walking on eggshells in schools, churches, work and with relatives. I have one niece that became a transman at 16 and another that decided at the age of 30 to be a trasnsman. I have no relationship with either of them, not by choice but because the 30 year old moved to Portland and the 16 year old got angry that I dead named her.

The mega churches are definitely compromised. Smaller ones, like the one my parents go to with only 20 members, are still pretty based.
