I told my son-in-law to go shove his phone in front of HR or his boss and make them read about the bill which is currently before our state legislature which will forbid companies from mandating the vaccine. We’re in a very red state so I know it will pass. (I’m originally from Kentucky but don’t live there now).

Pharmaceutical companies have immunity from any lawsuits and have no liability. An employer who forces employees to get the vaccine does not have immunity and can be sued. There was a pede last week that got his employer to reverse their vaccination mandate by having their employee explain that he would sue if the vaccine had any adverse effects on him.

Another thing to consider is any pre-existing conditions which might cause concern about the vaccine. My wife, an ER doc, is refusing to get the vaccine on the grounds that she has clotting disorder (not really, but she has had a birth-control related clot in her arm once). This should provide for a medical (vs. religious) exemption.
You don't even need to say vaccinations. Just say your religion doesn't accept genetic modifications or injections containing fetus remains or something along those lines.

The overreach is incredible, and I can’t imagine the impetus behind these orders by some employers. I do wonder if it’s like the United Way “voluntary” giving, but really it’s executive teams and boards trying to compete on a claim to say they got 100% participation from employees. We have a small team 15-20, and I could mandate, but I really don’t care what they do. Such a low priority and concern, relative to all the work we need to do. We have other things to be concerned about, such as a looming product launch.
