They talk a good talk, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Yea, some BLM type is going to do it anyway and nothing is going to happen because they're all too afraid to be called racist.

I do too. I hope they forfeit the chance to compete. That would be better than a fine.

But swinging dick in a women’s event is just fine to them.

Just wait for a country to get blown out of an event and they start to complain.

I would just run with it completely.

Bring full teams of the biggest men you can find. Source em from those that fall just behind your other male competitors in that competition.

Thank God we have some sanity here. I'm sick of seeing everything being turned into a political statement.

That's the way it SHOULD be. These international events have so many decorum rules to follow, and by the time they get there these athletes have already received; uniforms, parties, plane tickets, probably a bunch of swag. All they have to do is show up and compete.

I was participating in a national level version, and some guys one night broke curfew to go to the bar and got caught drunk. Not vandalizing, no fighting, just the curfew and drinking. There was discussion of stripping the team of all they received, including the return plane ticket home.

These sports events have no place for the grievances that whatever local concerns the athletes have to be aired. They are about sport, NOT politics.

Lol. It definitely will happen and the IOC will be bullied into allowing it.

Hopefully they won't be allowed to leave the country until they pay up

I don't believe it. Sports are fucking borked. Either this stupid administration will pay the fines for the athletes (with our tax money) or the IOC will step in and force Japan to abolish the policy. I will be shocked if a single podium event goes by without people kneeling or making a political statement. They know the cameras and MSM will make them famous for it. They've trained their whole lives to get there, they absolutely will want their 15+ minutes of fame.

So they admit it's political.
