it's not the shots exactly it's what's in them and the fact that they don't do anything to warrant calling them a "vaccine". Vaccines make you immune. Vaccines come with a pretty much guarantee you cannot get or spread a virus. There is no such guarantee here. Just take the jab, you're not allowed to know what's in it, you can't sue the manufacturers if if harms you and you can't go after your employer if they make it a condition of employment to get one.
Currently the vaccines only have emergency use authorization by the FDA so they can not be mandated. Once they get full approval by the FDA (which will be happening anytime now) companies will be able to mandate them.

In his defense he said he had religious disagreements with vaccines (pre-Wuhan Flu) and questioned their safety. The court decided that because he also cited safety concerns his complaint was medical, and not religious, and therefore he had no standing.
