Nice catch! I'm recording the feeds. Do you happen to know when this happened?

Edit:

I just saw someone mention that the black shirts are the cyber security team but I don't know for sure

Edit 2:

Liz (or at least someone with her name as the user) chimed in about it on her stream and said it was investigated and turned out to be a false alarm

He stuffed the USB into his pocket, if he was collecting data officially he would have had an envelope to put the drive into, then he and a witness would sign, date and seal it. That's how chain of custody works - not the sneaky way he did it.

So find him and find out what he did. Did he copy files from the laptop or to the laptop, is he working for We The People or the deep state?

Every thing about that man needs to be investigated, never-mind patting us on the head and telling us it is a false alarm. We saw him do it so it isn't a false alarm.

Apparently the system was connected to the cameras, it was a software update for the cameras, not a ballot system. Their internal teams verified this and noted it was a sanctioned activity that never touched any ballot systems, only network connected camera systems.

Transferring an update via USB is expected behavior on hardened, network isolated systems that aren't allowed to download from the internet.

Just updating the cameras to be as blurry as fuck. Nothing to see here... move along folks

29
michichael 29 points ago +34 / -5

If multiple officials from the audit team vetted it, we probably should trust it. If you only accept answers you want to hear, then you only discredit yourself when arguing future facts.

me-no-likely3 17 points ago +17 / -0

I’ve worked with web cameras before. With a large group of cameras, the potential that not all of them have the same software on them is very high

2
Brakesbreaktrains2 2 points ago +2 / -0

But this for noticed and had to be fixed right NOW?

3

Do you like your cameras to work?

Could be. Yeah.

You're the type of person who says the election was legitimate

1
michichael 1 point ago +1 / -0

No, you're just a qtard. The procedures they're using here are rigorous forensic processes including signed images and pre, random spot, and post work comparisons of the images to detect tampering. They're not internet connected and they've got serious cyber security specialists not only reviewing the systems but monitoring everything in the environment.

Ballot counting hasn't even started yet - they were doing the training work and making sure things are at the expected versions and levels.

If you can't trust them when they're following such procedures, then you don't have a valid point when you cite fraud because you only will accept what you want to hear. You're an idiot, in that case.

Don't get me wrong, they're going to find the fraud, and the media and dems will do anything to stop or hide that - hell, i don't think we'll see the results decertified given our cucked supreme court. But it'll expose the fraud and bring more people to our side. Nothing will change until we hit a critical mass of people unwilling to accept this illegitimate fucktard administration AND have the immutable facts to back our position.

Victory through works, not faith.

I don't care WHAT the explanation is, any USB should be documented and secured, not put into a picket.

5
PraiseBeToScience 5 points ago +11 / -6

Transferring an update via USB is expected behavior on hardened, network isolated systems that aren't allowed to download from the internet.

Well, uh, yes, but, no. If you're concerned about security you'll never in a million years touch a USB drive to fucking anything, ever.

16
ancientarchitect369 16 points ago +16 / -0

Yes you would. Not is an "I found this usb out in the parking lot, let me plug it into my system on my secure network to see if I can find out who dropped it". But more like as in "I have this brand new unused usb, lets secure erase and wipe it with all 0s, copy the update file to it from a known secure system, and use it to install an update on an air-gapped camera system.

Transferring an update via usb to an air-gapped system is much more secure than temporarily connecting said air-gapped system to the network to update. As other people have mentioned though, this usb should have never been put in pockets. It should have been in a securely sealed envelope, and signed off on by multiple forensic auditors throughout the entire process of taking the usb out of its package, secure erasing it, transferring the update, installing it, etc.

2
jealousminarchist 2 points ago +2 / -0

A true air-gapped system wouldn't even have the hardware to connect to the internet. USB sticks are the only way in.

I totally understand the skepticism. If you'd like for them to provide more assurance about the USB situation, you might be able to get in touch with someone through this contact page:

So for an update, in the comments section, the guy said that they looked into the situation and it's all clear. Still, keep up the work guys. We need all eyes on this shit.

39
Hades440 39 points ago +39 / -0

Ok, but what was it? Transparency isn't saying "we looked into it and it's all good, don't worry." Transparency is telling us what he did and why and if it's all good we can come to that conclusion on our own.

27
AlphaNathan 27 points ago +27 / -0

2
learntocode 2 points ago +2 / -0

whew, i was worried for a sec glad the wrongdoers cleared it all up

0
Final212 0 points ago +2 / -2

It was not connected to election software it was an update for security cameras.

3
mobgrazer 3 points ago +3 / -0

It was nothing nefarious the counting had to stop due to a water main leak.

2
Hades440 2 points ago +2 / -0

The security cameras that are watching the audit to keep it above board?

What were they updating? Why did it need to be done during the audit and not before or after?

Call it paranoia, but these people stole a presidential election, I'm not going to give them any benefit of any doubt on any action ever again. "Updating security cameras" could easily mean program them to run a loop instead of live footage at specific times to hide something.

[In reply to Arizona Conservatives Take Action] Update on Thumb-drive -> Pocket Footage

All is well. The man with the thumb-drive was identified. He is part of the audit IT staff. He was using the thumb-drive to perform an update on the camera system. His actions were fully sanctioned. The security team is extremely impressed that our community identified that micro-movement — an AZ Ranger and a cowboy hat guy waved to the camera to thank us. Keep up the excellent monitoring work — it’s much appreciated!

4
kornesque 4 points ago +4 / -0

Ok, they need trusted agents to vet catches like this for near-realtime reports. This could have been anything. Watch where that guy goes. Is there a report function? Do we have names on the auditors so we can autize their histories?

3
ACActual 3 points ago +4 / -1

WTF? The Audit doesn't start until Monday.

3
H335 3 points ago +3 / -0

Even if this happens, in an audit scenario it may be perfectly legitimate. I use thumb drives all the time to capture forensic memory images from live machines.

People think it's all about the hard drive, but in reality you only get artifacts and sometimes history. None of that tells you "what is happening right now?" What process threads are trying to open network connections? Are there pieces of code injected into other processes that occurr after the initial program launched and an internet connection was detected?

These and many other things can only be captured from forensic images of the actual running memory.

Once you take over a system level or kernel level process at ring zero, it is s simple matter to hide activity including network connections and open file handles from normal system utilities and APIs.

Come on man, I don't leave home without a copy of Win 10 on a USB. You never know when you'll need it.

Lets not assume anything. Why wouldn't a USB be in use during the audit? Perhaps its issued? I assume they cannot leave with it?

2
ancientarchitect369 2 points ago +2 / -0

A windows 10 USB? Nah, look into Medicat. You get portable linux, portable windows 10, dozens and dozens of portable programs for things such as virus scans, partition repair, data recovery, password resets, and more. Plus you get the bonus of being able to add your own ISO images to the boot list if you're tech savvy and can do a little bit of custom scripting. It's like an all-in-one system rescue tool that has saved my ass multiple times.

It was a joke, I only carry my millions of dollars worth of encrypted key bitcoin wallet on my USB. Sometimes I sit it right on the table when I'm sitting at a cafe sipping my caramel latte. Look at all the miserable gits there who don't have millions of dollars sitting on a USB. Rofl. Then sometimes I ask my coworkers if they want to borrow it to image something, it's funny when I turn around and say no. Maybe in the future we will all carry our money on a USB.

I hope every laptop there is having is screen and webcam recorded. If the automated cafeteria computer at my work records the kiosk computer 24/7!58 make sure people actually pay for the items they scan, then all the computers at this audit definitely need to.

From CodeMonkey on telegram

"Video of guy with the laptop is a FALSE ALARM. The guy was investigated and given the green light. Good job everybody for quickly bringing this to the foreground. Lets keep our eyes open and continue to watch carefully for the next few weeks.

Remember: FRAUD VITIATES EVERYTHING"

As we enter into the next administration please remember all the friends and happy memories we made together over the past few years.

Ill have more to say in a few days regarding a new project i’m currently fleshing out.
