I did see it, and even as a big Jackie Chan fan, did not care for it much at all, as it epitomized everything I disdain about the vast majority of remakes. I do have friends and family's kids who I have experienced that phenomenon with, and it's neat. Also a big Rowan Atkinson fan, both in and out of character.
