Apparently they had 4-5 factories nation wide that built Specific line of products.(Valves for oil and gas and just general transfer of materials) When it was all said and done I would say probably 2000-3000 well paid highly skilled people lost their jobs. (factory workers, food trucks, janitors, management, locally outsourced work, ect.) The ruling elite want America to be a nation of serfs in my opinion.

An American company developed a cutting edge version of it and a bunch of Chinese researchers stole the tech and operating system and opened a competing company in China. I found out because we weren't allowed to order from the Chinese company for replacement parts and they told me why.

Go look up FutureWei, Huawei's American subsidiary. I saw this happen at my own company, when I raised the alarm, I got shut down.
