As I said when arguing with people before about this, this vaccine, altering their DNA, makes them less than human. They made a grave mistake in allowing anyone to alter their DNA with anything. That's like forfeiting their human identity and giving it up to go shopping. I have a feeling they'll sorely regret it in the long run when even more "side effects" show up.

I work with a ton of doctors, and my brother's one, but I unfortunately don't get to really ask too many questions because the vast majority are either openly biased, or pretend in public because it's too taboo to accidentally align themselves with the wrong ideology, so I'm curious to hear more about your thoughts on the vaccine if you don't mind, or I guess a response to my thoughts because questioning my sanity seems to be more and more common in these crazy times lol (and it's cool if you don't want to elaborate/respond too lol).
My own personal take is, for someone like myself (30s, relatively healthy/no underlying conditions, etc) and my wife (similar circumstance - we'll also be trying to conceive soon), the risk/reward just doesn't seem balanced enough to convince us to get the vaccine. While I think most of the fear porn is just that, and most people who get the vax are likely to be fine, I also feel like... why take the chance, especially with something so new (and likely to require boosters), when I can just (worst case scenario) catch covid and deal with it? In all likelihood, I'll be fine (my older brother got it and said it wasn't great but nothing too terrible. He's a bit older - not sure if genetics come into play at all with a virus, but if that's any indication, taking that chance seems preferable).
I'll also add this. It's completely anecdotal and meaningless, but these things tend to psychologically affect an individuals decision-making: I got the flu shot 4 years in a row, and every one of those years caught an AWFUL flu. Once I turned 18 and was on my own, I never got it - I'll probably jinx myself now lol, but we're going on quite a long time of no flu vaccine, and no flu, after 4 straight years of getting both the vaccine and then severe flu ::shrug::
