Mount a red dot and keep both eyes open. As a bonus, you're not cutting off half the world by closing one eye. I'm a guy that prefers iron sights and shoot well with them, but the both eyes open thing is a big enough advantage that I put red dots on everything that I carry.
I've known some great shooters that keep both eyes open while shooting iron sights...I've tried and tried, but the skill escapes me.
I mean, his groupings are reasonably good, they're all offset. Not knowing how his weapon was set up, I'd have thought it might have been his sights initially, given that it looks like an indoor range and thus no risk of crosswind.
My understanding was always Good Grouping = Good Form. Poor Placement = Poor Weapon Setup.
If I'd shot like that in a grouping shoot with a scope, I'd be adjusting the scope one or two notches to the right, and trying to relax the shot to tighten the head grouping. If I'd shot like that over iron sights and I wasn't allowed to adjust them, I'd just aim off.
It's about working with the weapon system to deliver ordnance to where I want it to be.
At the end of the day, somebody is going to bleed or die when the weapon is used, it is imperative you know that the right person is going to. Get it wrong on a two-way range and it's going to be you dead or bleeding.
If you are worried about crosswind at 10yds you seriously need faster ammo. Unless it's really quite blustery It's only a minor concern shooting .177 6ft/lb air pistols let alone a 9mm.

I have the same issue. It really helped once I figured out I was left eye dominant and started training for it.
Yeah I have this problem. I have a diplopia in my dominant eye that doesn't really go away with a lens.
I mean, his groupings are reasonably good, they're all offset. Not knowing how his weapon was set up, I'd have thought it might have been his sights initially, given that it looks like an indoor range and thus no risk of crosswind.
My understanding was always Good Grouping = Good Form. Poor Placement = Poor Weapon Setup.
If I'd shot like that in a grouping shoot with a scope, I'd be adjusting the scope one or two notches to the right, and trying to relax the shot to tighten the head grouping. If I'd shot like that over iron sights and I wasn't allowed to adjust them, I'd just aim off.
It's about working with the weapon system to deliver ordnance to where I want it to be.
At the end of the day, somebody is going to bleed or die when the weapon is used, it is imperative you know that the right person is going to. Get it wrong on a two-way range and it's going to be you dead or bleeding.
If you are worried about crosswind at 10yds you seriously need faster ammo. Unless it's really quite blustery It's only a minor concern shooting .177 6ft/lb air pistols let alone a 9mm.

I was hoping this 2A issue would build up and get some momentum. Abbott recently said he would sign a bill making TX a 2A sanctuary state and there's also a bill in the legislature for constitutional carry. Just saw that Montana basically made their state a 2A sanctuary though there's debate on how much it will do. Haven't seen any updates on Texas over the past few weeks but they need to catch some heat. Other states are passing these laws weekly because they see what's coming from DC. Texas SHOULD be leading this cause.
Something definitely has to happen eventually. Pretty much every single time Democrats are in power they talk about taking away our guns (among other rights) and desperately use every shooting that occurs under their turn in power is somehow proof that over 300 million people are irresponsible gun owners (despite the fact that any shootings are the equivalent of a raindrop in the ocean (and also usually by a felon anyways)).
But legit something needs to happen that puts genuine fear into these cringe-inducing gun grabbers who appear every single time that particular party has control in the government.
Do any of these 2A sanctuary state laws have any teeth? I want to see one where not only are state and local police not allowed to enforce federal gun laws, but they are mandated to arrest federal officers if they try to enforce those laws in the state.
They basically don’t have any teeth. There was a state of Kansas case where someone made and sold a suppressor without any NFA compliance and the ATF prosecuted and won through at least one appeal.
As it is, most local police don’t really enforce federal laws but they do refer violations they find to federal cops. The effect here is very minimal.

The range is also rather close at 10 yards. Throwing them out at 10 yards isn't something to get excited about on a stationary target, but if he's rapid firing, it's not the end of the world.

I've got a glock 43 as my carry. Great gun but not very accurate past 10 yards. It's a single stacked 6+1 and can't even see it under my shirt but hard to control. Still love it.
