But if you wanna raise a family you need a middle class job, not a starter job. And it's the middle jobs that are Being targeted. Construction used to be a way to easily support a family but wages remained stagnant for 20 years thanks to a low end labor pool.
Now you can't have a middle class life with that unless you move to a special trade that takes more skill.
I don't know how things are over there in America, but here in Europe you basically need a degree for everything. Even to paint people's houses or take phone calls. It's not impossible to get a job without a degree, but it's pretty hard. If you have experience, however, you almost have too many jobs to choose from. The elites want it this way because it makes it easier for their stupid kids to get ahead. It's a society ruled by people who manage to appear competent (fraudsters).
I am from the UK and agree. "Entry Level" jobs do not really exist anymore, almost every job requires 3 years experience. Luckily I am doing a STEM degree with a good chance of a job offer at the end of it.
Where in Europe may I ask? Would've said Scotland with the name haha.
One negative of the entire Anglosphere is how worthless and overabundant degrees and fruity degrees have become. Talking to German speaking Euros it's nowhere near as bad there, much more emphasis on trades and apprenticeships are very commonplace, but it's starting to slowly go bad in recent years too. No idea about the rest of Europe.
Ex poor pede here. Even when I was poor and jobless... ALL temp agencies hired me on the spot. Heck they'd even hire ex cons. Gotta be willing to work in factories though.
You’re not wrong. They’re limiting themselves to work in their chosen field, and there might not be any jobs in said field. This doesn’t mean there’s no jobs, just no jobs they are willing to do. In those cases, their entitled asses need to starve a bit. Might help their choice-making abilities.
Its laughable to call what we have capitalism anymore. Nothing about the trade wenengage in is free. Govt has their grubby hands in literally everything. There isn't a market they or their cronies aren't actively manipulating at all times. Its cronyism or some form of fascism. We still have private property but the dems are pushing for that hard. They shut down small companies across the country so that most of them failed and will never come back so now everyone will shoo at Amazon or other big corporations
Who can't get a job today? There are so many out here.
You can get "a" job pretty easily, at the bottom.

And it's not the only industry like that
Yeah, if you're unemployed, you're not trying or thinking you're better than swinging a hammer or wearing a hair-net and nametag.

Good luck. In the states 2/3rds of all entry level tech jobs go to guest workers...
It seems that in the UK, 2/3rds of all entry level jobs go to foreign workers.
We have business competing with free money from the government.
Before covid, we had full employment and wages were rising.
Now, fast food places are intermittently closed because people aren't showing up for work.
Jobs all claim that requirement but it doesn't actually matter

Listen faggot,
These are our college educated betters
They studied social studies for FOUR YEARS
They are way too advanced to work with us lowly working men
They need an office, and, at minimum, 50,000 starting salary to do basically nothing or...
... capitalism has failed
must be this ^^

When I was a kid I had a temp job ripping up carpet that had been glued down with contact cement. Working in a factory would have been an improvement.
Entry level tech jobs
Then the robots and touch screen kiosks replace us all.
At least they can get my order right....
Capitalism fails people in the same manner that an fridge filled with food starves people that refuse to eat.
I prefer "savage" capitalism a thousand times over "egalitarian" communism
They aren't even trying to find a job

That pretty much sums it up....
Japan has full employment
