So one visitor a day as usual but they were cool and let one of us ride in ambulance from one VA center to the other VA center. my personal gripe. Im at my whits end. How do i stay from being an asshole and cooperate with society when society is dictating that i must be a fucked up asshole. Are there any good answers?

Is it congestive heart failure? That's a terminal sign in the elderly and he should qualify for hospice care at home. CoQ10 is good for heart failure. If he's been on statin drugs for cholesterol a long time, that is known to cause CHF.
Yes and yes. But he is not considered "70 percent disabled" by the VA . The man cant shit walk or even fucking stand up on his own without assistance they fucking installed an attrocious large wheelchair ramp HE CANT EVEN USE and the VA just fucked off....
Pray. Even if you do not believe in God, the act of thinking about it. The good, the bad, everything about prayers are cathartic and helps in trying times and is good reflection in good times as well.

Maybe a reminder or two to the staff that their following these cruel procedures makes them just as guilty as the policy setters. Tell them to speak up and speak out.
And, if time, take him home with hospice.

thats the only way i see it. but they wont give him hospice. hes not 70 percent disabled. the man cant stand walk sit shit or piss on his own nor can he use the wheelchair ramp that they generously provided. but hes not disabled enough for either hospice or a FUCKING NURSE that can come once a week and give him a catheter IV for four fuckin hours ONE TIME a week. fuck the va

One where the VA installs a ramp for wheelchair and fucks off while my father cant even get out of bed much less shit or piss alone without assistance. Cant even utilize the wheel ramp. And they fuck off and make us deal with it and we take better care of him than the fucking doctors. So could be just about any state.
and they let a clearly dying person with severe dimentia check themselves out and let him wait in the cold for one of us to drive an hour to come get him. the man cant even stand up. FUCK THE VA
HES A RETIRED LTC ARMY ARTILLERY and they just let him stand outside and then call us because last time they had him he fell under their care 3 fuckin times and they had to transport him to a LOCAL HOSPITAL ? What the fuck is that. I dont trust these people. and i dont know what to fucking do.
Ok, I do sense the stress you are under and it sounds like your Dad has had ongoing critical health issues.
If you don’t feel his death is imminent, I would encourage you to just battle one thing at a time. Unfortunately, you have many understandable grievances. But focus on one or two and see if you can get any help or a willing VA employee to make things better.
I’d explain that you are stressed, that you just want what’s best for your Dad, and you are desperate for someone there to listen and truly care enough to impact some change.
I know what you are feeling and I am very sorry. But I encourage some deep breaths. I would also keep asking them what options you have. Are they doing everything or are there things that haven’t been offered in terms of care or facilities. A care coordinator there maybe? Just keep asking for help. Prayers for some calm so when you do see your Dad, your heart is more at rest.
