The article doesn't mention anything about them running together. The article says retired Army Lt. General Keith Kellogg says Trump called Pence after Pence had pacemaker surgery. The general then speculates that they are talking:
"They're talking together. I know the president called him when he had his operation just recently on the pacemaker. And I know they're talking."
How many times did we see before when an "insider" speculated on Trump and was wrong. When Trump says he is talking with Pence again, I will believe it.
As for Trump calling Pence after pacemaker surgery, that is just because Trump is a decent guy, even to the haters and losers like Pence.
