The USA breaking away from the UK is one of the only examples where people stopped obeying before things got too bad. In almost EVERY example of a civilization falling, things only rebounded after hitting the bedrock. But somehow America did it before that happened. Americans in 1770s weren’t completely enslaved when they decided to revolt, but they did it because it was the right thing to do for the injustices they faced.
I want to say we can do it again (breaking away before rock bottom, before total enslavement) but I just don’t see it. The actions being taken against us today are FAR more egregious than anything King George did. Politicians have been literally taking more money, MURDERING citizens, colluding on a global scale, and more, and all of this was BEFORE 2020.
But so many complied and it showed humanity has been defeated by its own desires.
I think the reason America was able to do it before was because life wasn’t as comfortable. But life is too safe and comfortable now. Humans naturally seek security, especially women who now inhabit decision making positions and will gladly vote and decide to collectivize resources to obtain that security.
I think we reached the point of no return politically and technologically. Our civilization will fall until rock bottom.

The Revolution wasn't for the sake of creating an anarchy - it was for creating a cohesive team that has the money to be able to fight off the other cohesive teams that threaten to take over. If the members of the new team don't pay their dues then the team can't compete against the other teams who DO get THEIR members to pay their dues.
We don't live in some kind of ararcho-utopia. Govts need to do what they need to do to be competitive enough to fight off the other govts who are morally worse. That involves needing to collect taxes.
It's all about paying your taxes to the best team, not living in some fantasy where you get to somehow not pay taxes at all.
