Hollywood will be destroyed. Not how you all think it will though. I doubt many of you understand the term "disruptive technology". I doubt many of you have any clue what GPT-3 is. For the last 3 years, a new version of GPT has been released. By generation 5-6 I predict it will be far more than powerful enough for the average guy with a story, a pc with a great gpu, that it will be able to allow that average guy to make an entire blockbuster sized movie within a matter of a day to a week depending on how much tweaking time he wants to take.
Hollywood will not be able to compete with the vast amount of movies that just about anyone can make. Sure, storytelling is an artform that most don't get, but I see a renewed interest in it beyond what there is now. If GPT continues to have a generation released every year, it will be within 3 years, however I am predicting a slowdown of the releases due to the complexity, and give it 7 years before GPT is advanced enough.
