Get protonmail accounts for you and your mother. They are free and encrypted. Fuck Google.

52
Choad 52 points ago +53 / -1

Proton is free now? Good to hear.

61
Archmagnus 61 points ago +63 / -2

you get 1 free account, you try to have 2 and you get banned, so be wary

40
DickTick 40 points ago +43 / -3

EVERYBODY PLANNING ON USING PROTONMAIL - MAKE DAMN SURE YOU READ THE COMMENT ABOVE!

You'll end up having your accounts banned and won't be able to figure out what the fuck happened, but this poster is correct - if you try to make a second protonmail account you'll end up getting both of them banned.

Just stick with the one free account.

18
Shayhawk 18 points ago +18 / -0

I have seven protonmail accounts...banned?

7
glasses2020 7 points ago +7 / -0

My accounts aren’t banned but I can’t access proton mail from my home IP I have to use a VPN now.

modscalledmeacuck -11 points ago +3 / -14

U poor static ip/cgnat man, I oth get a new ip when I dis/reconnect in 19216811 on my asus router, lucky me being on a noncgnat dynamic ip isp I guess

DickTick 8 points ago +8 / -0

I think you just had a stroke my man

1
glasses2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

Pretty sure the only reason you’re being downvoted is because this board is full of tards but you’re right most cable internet subs are cgnat and it blows but unfortunately it’s between that and DSL so you gotta live with it or move.

3
NC_patriot 3 points ago +3 / -0

I have six.

3
Bucktooth34 3 points ago +3 / -0

For now

1
DickTick 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah be careful with that bro! I assure you they'll get banned one day.

Just look up info about it so you'll be aware

As long as you're not logging into them simultaneously from one IP or back to back from a single ip then you're probably okay, but if you do they will certainly get banned in time

1
DickTick 1 point ago +1 / -0

I just wouldn't recommend logging into both of them simultaneously or back to back from the same IP or they will almost certainly get banned in time.

There have been bunches of threads about it in the past but I haven't seen one in a while, which is why I made sure to point back to his comment loudly.

1
Shayhawk 1 point ago +1 / -0

I regularly check them back to back.

How are they going to know I'm one person, vs a group of college students using a shared computer?

I'm calling bullshit on this whole "one account or get banned" thing.

11
j4ckp0t 11 points ago +12 / -1

With Google you can put random . In the email address.

So [email protected]

If you sign up for some bs put like [email protected]

You can organize your one email based on the format. Not sure if it works with proton.

10
fazaman 10 points ago +10 / -0

You can also add +word to your address. So: [email protected]. then if you get mail to that address, you know who sold your email, and can make filters or blocks as needed.

... Or use another email provider or create your own!

8
unclebobinator 8 points ago +8 / -0

I do both methods because some sites only accept email addresses from gmail or hotmail, the more popular ones. Some wouldn't even accept my ISP email.

So I use Gmail for dumb shit, and private email for business. No need for protonmail when I have a server in Switzerland that hosts my emails.

5
LowKeyPede 5 points ago +5 / -0

Really? I've never experienced this.

5
j4ckp0t 5 points ago +5 / -0

Cool. Didn't know that!

1
lixa 1 point ago +1 / -0

So the added word is +store?

2
fazaman 2 points ago +2 / -0

Another example: Say you're signing up for a newsletter 'Frens News' and your email is '[email protected]', you could put your email in as '[email protected]' and you'll still get the email at your normal email address.

1
hansgruber7 1 point ago +1 / -0

i didn't know this.. i've been using 2 for years, i even logout of one and login to the other on the same browser.. now i'm scared. Any ideas if i did get banned, then bought paid.. would they unban me?

jenroyandmoss 74 points ago +75 / -1

This kind of stuff is getting much too commonplace. When things like this started happening, most conservatives were surprised and shocked, and worried. Now, something like email censorship of your own private communication is met with recommendations for "better" providers. We are taking on water.

24
Choad 24 points ago +28 / -4

How do you expect to be conservative and support a liberal woke cooperation that sat in front of congress and flat out refused to block child porn when it was well within their power to do so? You feed a beast and get upset when it grows? I guess common sense just isn't so common anymore. The point is to be aware. Know who you are doing business with. Know what and who you are supporting in life. You can't just go through life blindly expecting someone else to solve all your problems. You need to do some research on your own to help out the cause. When someone offers a valid option you chose to complain about the option? Makes no sense at all.

21
jenroyandmoss 21 points ago +21 / -0

No, you are reading it wrong. I was glad an option was offered, and think it was a good one. My point was attitudinal - that 6 months ago when I - and many many others - first started hearing about stuff like this in all directions - I was stunned and thought surely it was a one-off - and this kind of stuff doesn't happen in America. And all those Orwell quotes I must have read a million times in the past started seeming far too real for me. The first few times I read posts on this board about someone being kicked off fb for a simple posting, I stopped in my tracks, reread it, and pondered it over and over - trying to figure out what was happening. Now I just scroll on past -- it's embedded in our lives now. And who is there to stand for us before these monoliths?

10
Choad 10 points ago +11 / -1

Ah, I see. I guess the way it was worded confused me and I do see your point and feel the same way. My apologies if my reply was harsh.

3
blanka 3 points ago +3 / -0

I am on the minority on this tactic, maybe it is wrong, I am not sure, but I think we should disengaged from all these goliaths whenever possible.

"Oh, but I have a bakery and I need the social media promotion". Okay, keep it, I need to keep Whatsapp, even though I don't want to, but giving them our attention freely seems too much of a lost in my opinion. If nobody had Facebook, Zuck's power would greatly diminish.

This strategy is usually met with "but we need to occupy spaces and not just give them terrain freely". My impression is that this is not a good analogy because those are all virtual and the more it becomes an echo-chamber for the Left, the worse it will be for them, they will be more disconnect from reality which will ultimately prevail one way or another.

I am not a mastermind strategist, but I have never heard a rebuttal that made me think it is a good idea to still give those corporations our attention (by keeping an account, loggin in periodically), specially when we do that "automatically", without purpose.

CucksForTheDonald [S] 47 points ago +47 / -0

After some experimentation, it seems the problem is a link to my own blog post (!) in the quoted part of the email. The message went through after I removed most of the quoted part, which also eliminated the link to my blog post.

My blog has very few readers, and I certainly don't send spam links to my blog.

The post Google dislikes is about the 5 democratic governors that forced people with respiratory issues into nursing homes to drive up the Covid-19 death count.

27
DefenderDad 27 points ago +27 / -0

So they are doing a protection racket.

23
HuggableBear 23 points ago +23 / -0

It's not even just blocking an incoming spam mail from arriving.

They are blocking you from sending it. This isn't customer service and content filtering, it's active suppression. They are literally telling you "Nope, you can't say that."

But our government is too cucked and in their pockets to do shit about it.

6
kernel 6 points ago +6 / -0

Blocked at sender is actually nice just one more reason to leave Google and gmail.

3
anewpatriot 3 points ago +3 / -0

That’s it right there. With all of the senate hearings that we have had for big tech, if our government actually cared, they would have done something about it.

1
modscalledmeacuck 1 point ago +1 / -0

Whatcha gonna do when gmail is the only 1 tht supports those unfortunately enough to be ipv6-only cucks

3
Consumerbot381732 3 points ago +3 / -0

Bet your blog is hacked. Self-hosted wordpress?

3
CucksForTheDonald [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Blog definitely not hacked. Not self-hosted.

2
Consumerbot381732 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well, it's not always immediately obvious if you've been hacked. Just speaking from experience, I've had difficulty sharing a link to a blog before, and found out it was because it had been hacked, and was serving malware. Might be worth your while to run a security check on it.

3
Legalpede 3 points ago +3 / -0

Wouldnt surprise me at all if there is a list of 'trusted sites' (corporate), and everything else is presumed spam.

2
BigCovfefe 2 points ago +2 / -0

What happens if your mom adds you to safe sender list?

Also, what happens if you send the same email using encrypted confidential mode (its in the lower left status bar)

22
remindmelater 22 points ago +22 / -0

They've been capturing conservative content into the spam folder for quite a while...but I never heard of not being able to send it....it doesn't surprise me....The tech giants are like kings without a kingdom and they're complicit in a coup...The bible say that in the last days people will say "who can fight against it".....

8
HighVoltage 8 points ago +8 / -0

Your data is their kingdom. With AI and machine learning, they don't even need to see any data about a person to know all they can about them. If you just give two or three people that a person speaks with periodically that would be enough for them to build an entire profile of that person.

7

8

Zip the file, google won't be able to read the contents.

5
B4NN3D45 5 points ago +5 / -0

Other tricks, cut and paste the documents into new documents and rename. If links are banned, paste them into a word document. It's very difficult for algorithms to catch everything. Passworded zip files are really good.

6
unclebobinator 6 points ago +6 / -0

Password zip files is too much for my mother let alone my grandmother. Just make sure you know their capabilities before you do any of this. Perhaps instruct them on phone.

5

you just described a dilemma

You overestimate my mom. :( To make things easier for her, I once sent her an attached MP4 video instead of a link. She replied she won't open it because the video player app is asking her for access to files and she finds that mighty suspicious.

1
modscalledmeacuck 1 point ago +1 / -0

1
modscalledmeacuck 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought instagram didn't let any links in general

2
CoolAsACucumber 2 points ago +2 / -0

Could you post your collection of links here?

1
CucksForTheDonald [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

The culprit turned out to be a link to my blog which I had previously sent without issues, but it was embedded in the quoted message history in more recent emails.

The blog is not self-hosted, it's not hacked, and it's followed by very few readers. However, all of my posts recently have been collections of political and medical information such as you would find on Patriots.win. And the blocked post in question was an article about the nursing home shenanigans.

1
