farangbak 32 points ago +32 / -0

LOL, my first thought! Does it have a magic stone within it?

13
jbDonuts 13 points ago +13 / -0

The kaaba of Tuscon.

Spez: Or Tucson if ya wanna be a dick about it.

13
AussieTrumpFan 13 points ago +13 / -0

So we organise a Hajj and start stoning Liz Cheney and Cindy McCain?

6
frogface 6 points ago +6 / -0

Everybody must get stoned.

6
IBentMyWookie 6 points ago +6 / -0

Roger Stone has entered the chat

3
HanAssholeSolo 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hunter is always stoned.

2
AussieTrumpFan 2 points ago +2 / -0

Now that would be hilarious. Liz Cheney and Ciny McCain hotboxing and trying to keep their hate of GEOTUS in place.

9
sordid_sloth 9 points ago +9 / -0

the black shirts walk around it in circles at night after everyone leaves...

11
Furshezil 11 points ago +11 / -0

It's a Trojan horse, at night a bunch of 300 lb blue hairs climb out and spray paint black lives matter over everything.

4
massivehairycleaner 4 points ago +4 / -0

Or maybe the monolith from Space Odyssey.

1
Furshezil 1 point ago +1 / -0

Perhaps, whatever it is I don't trust it.

Why wouldn’t it be? Otherwise you’d just SSH into a remote instance instead of moving iron in.

I am a data protection manager... 100's of TB's even De-duped (Similar to Win-Zip) is Gargantuan!...

These have to be full scans of all ballots to PDF or some other type of format.

17
RealFletchYoung 17 points ago +17 / -0

What are they scanning at 100 mb a page?

11
DemsFuckKids 11 points ago +11 / -0

is this so Jovan P can do his thing?

Anyone here can dig into his patents, and find out that he's basically done close to nothing. I had a very detailed post on this on this site, and after about 30 minutes of digging, cannot find it.

This is very good, hat-tip u/Deplora and link

Deplora 1 point 23 days ago +2 / -1

No, his tech products are not lucrative. He was the inventor of the infamous CueCat, which lost investors (mostly big companies that should have known better) a lot of money. HE says he has patents on lots of super-awesome stuff; nobody else says that. Google your heart out. I just posted a bunch of links to someone else who asked https://patriots.win/p/12i4Hx7Zx5/x/c/4DzeVnb1upE I've previously posted some other links to info about him https://patriots.win/p/12i48dCGiv/x/c/4DzeCDP1KSv He is an absolute complete total con artist, and it's really scary how somebody like this can sucker so many serious Trump supporters.

3
Deplora 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thanks for reassuring me that I'm not totally wasting my time when I put together comments like that :)

2
DemsFuckKids 2 points ago +2 / -0

what makes you say that?

7
residue69 7 points ago +7 / -0

Page 11 talks about the sections of the ballot that are microscope scanned.

They, like Trump's win, are bigly.

1
RohdKill_2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

I would think with the required resolution they probably could be

3
MudDog 3 points ago +3 / -0

a pdf of every single ballot in the country wouldn't be 100s of TB

4
HanAssholeSolo 4 points ago +4 / -0

That would mean... >100% voter turnout! IT’S FRAUD!!!

3
deleted 3 points ago +3 / -0
4
FireannDireach 4 points ago +4 / -0

Depends on what they're doing, and how, I've seen camera stands and scanners - scanners generally don't output RAW files, RAW is a camera format. But an uncompressed .psd off a scanner is just as good. I'm not aware of any scanner drivers that output RAW file format, but they could exist - I know Silverfast uses a proprietary HDRi format that's pretty much the same as RAW, though.

The idea is a data dump off the sensor, with no processing, and you use RAW for cameras, and just turn off all processing in the scanner software you use, and save as a PSD or a file format with no compression. I have a desktop Canon scanner that I do that with, and just adjust by hand in Lightroom or Photoshop.

2
Necrovoter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Reports earlier were that they were doing full scans of everything. I didn't see a mention of what format they were storing them in.

1
AdmrlNelson 1 point ago +1 / -0

That was my thought. That seems like a crazy amount of data for an audit like this. Most be really in depth to generate that much data

29
YourOwnGreatGrandma 29 points ago +36 / -7

Democrats are claiming this audit is “fraudulent.”

But where’s Muh widespread evidence of fraud???

15
BackhoeBandit 15 points ago +15 / -0

I assume this is for archiving all the video data from the dozens of cameras located at each station.

Looks like a couple generic 42U cabinets about 2/3 full of 1U servers. All the blue wires hanging out the sides seem to be connecting to a network switch, sitting on the floor next to the racks. The 1U servers are likely loaded with drives and clustered together for PetaBytes of storage. Each 1U server can easily support 50GB of storage, so 30x servers in each rack is roughly 15 PetaBytes of storage each.

The problem will be...to move it off site before the Chinese Long March 5B rocket, randomly crashes into the building, destroying all the evidence.

11
AdamSmith1776 11 points ago +12 / -1

Dominion coming in hot! Installing something to fix the audit in progress.

100's of terrabytes?? Good lord.

I work work revit and lumion files and i havent filled 25 terrabytes in 16 years.

7
AussieTrumpFan 7 points ago +7 / -0

They found Hunter's laptop hard drive images on the voting machines. They need all the space to hold copies of what they found.

6
MudDog 6 points ago +6 / -0

bruh, if you find Hunter's laptop, DO NOT COPY THE FILES TO YOUR OWN COMPUTER! IT IS VERY ILLEGAL TO HAVE THAT KIND OF MATERIAL ON YOUR COMPUTER

4
AussieTrumpFan 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah. I saw that even 4Chan were tapdancing around some of the content that leaked. Given what they did post for shock value lols, I hate to imagine what was withheld.

Nice headline. Got me to look.

4
Pepe_Kekmaster 4 points ago +4 / -0

I am sure its not connected to the internet as well.. /smdh

4
jbDonuts 4 points ago +5 / -1

I could be wrong, but I think "hundreds of terabytes" is more racks than that.

Spez: at least if storing it securely and redundantly.

9
jnvsor 9 points ago +9 / -0

Nah. You'd only need a 51 disk raid5 of 4TB hard drives to hit 200. I imagine the bulk of that is a raid array if it's just there for storage

2
jbDonuts 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sure, but x2 drive failures and all your data is lost, but I get your point. Even RAID 15 would only take 102 disks by your math and could theoretically be hosted in a single relay rack. Still risky, especially when your operation is a likely target for espionage.

2
jnvsor 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well you could do raid6 to add double redundancy with only 2 parity disks instead of 1 from raid5, pretty sure you can do more along those lines but then your controller's going to struggle.

Most likely they're just using it to archive batches of data off of whatever system they were already using though, so it's probably not even on 24/7

1
jbDonuts 1 point ago +1 / -0

Moot point anyways. I just looked at the livestream and there appear to be x2 racks in-place.

5
Demonspawn 5 points ago +5 / -0

I've got just over 100 TB raid at home. Not nearly as big as you'd think it'd be. Spinning disk drives have gotten rather large lately.

3
FireannDireach 3 points ago +3 / -0

And a lot of guys are switching over to SSD storage. I watch Linus Tech Tips, and they've covered a lot of the newer SSD setups. Way outside of my wheelhouse, but they've put together massive amounts of storage, at top speeds. Really cool stuff, they're editing 4k and higher off their servers, not stored locally.

2
theantirobot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Might be important to point out that their servers are on premise. So, not local on the workstation, but not hosted in a data center on the other side of the country. It's just in another room. Still cool though, probably even cooler.

1
Demonspawn 1 point ago +1 / -0

And a 1G (preferably 10G) network between the on prem server and the workstation....

I've got plenty of SSDs in my setups, but SSD NAS is too rich for my blood and storage requirements.

2
journalist 2 points ago +2 / -0

You could drop petabytes into a single rack. Terabytes aren’t shit anymore.

3
IBentMyWookie 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nice Rack! But watch out for flash! (Drives that is...)

1
Deaditewater 1 point ago +1 / -0

This reads like a dark souls message :P sorry if you don't get the reference

2

The only Dark Souls experience I’ve had is a game so hard I couldn’t play it with 15 extra thumbses. :)

I’ll slink back to my boomer Sanic Fast memes.

KeysToNeW 2 points ago +3 / -1

Is it true that they're not verifying signatures?

Isn't that the #1 most important thing to check?

13
Cianevalies 13 points ago +13 / -0

I think they are finding so much other provable fraud that signatures are not needed. Machine manipulation, Fraudulent ballot paper , Dead voters , vacant lots as addresses. Etc etc

6
IronMaiden 6 points ago +6 / -0

We can only hope, i'm expecting fuckery as always.

1
Deplora 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly. If the "voter" isn't real, it can be safely assumed that the signature isn't legit.

1
Warbeard 1 point ago +1 / -0

From memory so probably wrong but I think they can't verify signatures because the signatures were on the envelopes and they separated the ballots from the envelopes on election night (destroyed evidence). There's no way to match them back up.

1
GuerillaYourDreams 1 point ago +1 / -0

This alone should be illegal and invalidate those votes.

2
cholulaking 2 points ago +2 / -0

Our IT guys have the best racks! Wait...

2
vongregormench 2 points ago +2 / -0

Has anyone leaked anything about the audit yet? Has anyone hinted that they’re finding out interesting things? I know they’re supposed to keep things secret but if they found anything shocking you know it would be in the rumor mill by now.

3
HeavyMetalPatriot 3 points ago +3 / -0

No news is no news. I suspect the radio silence is for their volunteers' protection.

2
StadiumHopper 2 points ago +2 / -0

100's of TB's. I don't think so. But, I would buy into one Kekebyte. ;)

Was the server rack donated by Dominion voting systems?

1
jsphere256 1 point ago +1 / -0

That server is destined to share a cell with the Clinton bathroom server and get prison raped by Hunter's laptop

you don't need a rack for 100's of terabytes

1
iirc_life 1 point ago +1 / -0

has anyone mentioned huge tracts of land yet?

1
OrangeElvis 1 point ago +1 / -0

HUNDREDS of TB?! What data are they collecting? I cannot fathome the number of PDF or even image files that would be. I literally have 10s of thousands of photos, songs and 1500±1080p movies on a media server that is less than 20TB.

1
AmericanForever 1 point ago +1 / -0

Is it secure?
