The sad part is, if there was a known father involved in her life, she wouldn't be worrying about the baby so much (because doing that is the father's job.)

9
TimeTravelingGiant 9 points ago +9 / -0

While not wrong that having Dad around lessens the stress (hopefully), I also don't know any mothers of any backgrounds who are not concerned for the kids safety regardless of single mother status.

What kind of mother doesn't worry about their child's safety????

3
WinsomeWonder 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's what I was thinking. I worry about the safety of my kids all the time although it's more of an existential worry.

It is quite a bit higher than that. Most black people are not on welfare. Around 70% have not been convicted of a felony. There are plenty of problems in the black community, but don't let that give you the impression that the average person you meet is part of the problem.

They go to the docs for chest pains and the doc asks “does anything run in the family?”

“Just dad”.

I mean honestly.... My dad made it very clear to us kids how we were to respond to police officers. My dad was also very good at getting out of most tickets by simply being extra polite and honest with the officers about the infraction.

He taught us where and how to stop, what to do with our hands, to be respectful (Yes, sir. No, sir) and to be honest without giving out too much information. To think white kids don't get this treatment is crazy to me. Just shows their ignorance, unfortunately.

17
big_tuna_14 17 points ago +17 / -0

Yeah, the whole "the talk" being just a black thing or minority thing is BS. My parents always made clear to me to not fuck around with someone who can end your life/lock you up for not complying. Maybe the new "talk" should be keeping your dick in your pants until you are ready to be a father.

3
penguinjay1212 3 points ago +3 / -0

"the new talk" is how the cops are going to come get them and to run and try to act a fool playing nig roullette, to try to get a lighter sentence or money for family by baiting for police violence.

I think you must be referring to the "New New Talk," you know, "The Talk" Reboot.

The actual talk all loving families with 2 parents and even beyond, just loving families, have the talk if they give half a shit about raising their kids and don't just live with a chip on their shoulder.

7
tombombadil 7 points ago +7 / -0

Even for not so simple shit. Let them arrest you and don’t say anything to them until your lawyer gets there.

50
braindeadbiden 50 points ago +50 / -0

If they're teaching their kids how to deal with the cops, what in the hell are they teaching?

"When approached by an officer, ensure you're carrying a weapon, try to flee and when caught, immediately resist arrest in the most violent fashion possible. That outta do it. White people are so lucky they don't have to teach their kids."

27
booblitchutz 27 points ago +27 / -0

Yeah if they’re supposedly teaching them “protocol” it ain’t seeping in!

No, this is not representative of black people. This is wealthy black academics farting out some bullshit and white communists applauding them.

9

My parents never even had to explain that to me.

Generally following the law, being respectful, and not resisting will avoid 99% of negative police interactions.

This is obvious to anyone with half a brain.

2
Kekstanone 2 points ago +2 / -0

Are you saying that having half a brain is white privilege?

38
ModernKnight 38 points ago +38 / -0

All right, let's break this whole picture down-

"3x more likely to survive childbirth"- no, blacks are 3x as likely to die. About 41 per 100k, or 0.041%, which is still a REALLY SMALL NUMBER, and the bulk of those are due to personal health choices.

"Being offered pain medication"- pressing x to doubt here. They may be limited on what they can offer you, depending on the above mentioned health issues or if you show up to deliver high as a kite, but if you're denied pain meds, it's not due to skin color.

"not worrying for the safety of their children"- I wholly agree, that's an incredibly fucked up thing to believe.

"Having welcoming or inclusive mom groups"- I didn't know that was really a thing. None of my family have ever had such groups. Instead we have... (wait for it)... FAMILY!

"Not having to carry the history of violence and being a wet nurse"- The Irish would like you to know they exist. So do the entirety of the European lower classes for thousands of years.

"Not being asked if you're the nanny"- Is this an issue? Even if it's true, so what? Why do you care what they think?

"Not worrying your child will get racially profiled"- Sorry, but anti-white racism is far, FAR more common in the US than anti-black racism. It's not something smart white parents worry about, it's something they know happens.

"No one asking who the father is"- if you'd take part in a little beneficial institution called Holy Matrimony, and keep true to your vows, nobody would have to ask.

"People not judging your financial status"- sorry, happens to white people too.

"Having culturally sensitive prenatal, labor, and breastfeeding support"- nope, they aren't culturally sensitive with us, they just tell us what is what, and we don't chimp out because we don't like the answers. They trust our culture to not freak out about being told the truth.

"Not having to teach your children the protocol for dealing with the police"- FUCK OFF! This is so stupid. My father ABSOLUTELY taught all of us exactly how to deal with the police! He taught us exactly how to behave in a traffic stop- "When you see the lights in your rearview mirror, DO NOT RUN, pull over to the side of the road. Get your license, insurance, and registration out right when you are sopped, and roll down your window. Keep your hands on the wheel at all times, unless it's to hand the officer the documents. Keep the documents between your fingers so you can keep your fingers extended, letting the officer know you aren't hiding a knife behind the steering wheel. Make NO SUDDEN MOVES, if you suddenly move the cop will shoot you. Remain calm and polite with the officer."

22
Modernturnkey 22 points ago +22 / -0

In regards to your first two points; the CDC says 4 out of 5 black women are obese. Studies and demographic reports back up this claim.

That's a large issue to most of their problems. Overweight people are more likely to die from everything, from an illness to childbirth. As for the pain meds, it's bullshit, but a few causes could be the weight issue, or the fact that many black women have marks on their medical charts stating a history of abusing pain medication.

3
Ilanna 3 points ago +3 / -0

A lot of them also don't bother with prenatal care, or completely deny they are pregnant till the baby is pushing its way out, too late for pain meds to be given. Both issues lead to a lower chance of survival for both baby and mom. They probably also have high blood pressure because of the obesity, again lowering chances of survival.

3
JoseffineBiden 3 points ago +3 / -0

And it's such a small number, it's meaningless

13
Chaospyke 13 points ago +13 / -0

Was gonna come do this, but ya beat me to it. Just wanna add:

"Not having to teach your children the protocol for dealing with the police" - Its not that you have to to teach your kids the protocol for dealing with police but you didn't teach them at all.

"not worrying for the safety of their children"- Same thing here. I saw a woman last year, black, easily third trimester smoking. And I was in awe. Like that kid's life is in jeopardy before it even begins.

Obviously this isn't reflective of all black people. I'm black and my mom told me how to deal with police; be respectful and follow their orders. And she's always worrying about be. Despite the fact I'm 28 and live alone.

9
unspecified_user 9 points ago +10 / -1

Without black mom wisdom I wonder how I knew not to chimp out when I had a policeman aiming his pistol at my face during a mistaken identity traffic stop. White privilege I guess led me to be compliant when handcuffed lying face down on the street. If I was black I imagine the dude would have just shot me and gone about his day. Thank you black moms for all you do.

Marriage is irrelevant. Be there for your family. If you have kids, take care of them. Don't abandon the mother and let the state raise them.

15
booblitchutz 15 points ago +15 / -0

DEAD. WRONG.

Marriage is the social bond that holds a family together. It's the set of legal and spiritual responsibilities that seals the commitment of family.

What you're describing is the left's fantasy, no commitments, no bonds, just whims. The rest falls under the control of the state.

2
poopsalad 2 points ago +2 / -0

stable family is definitely better but

having both parents be around even though they arent together is much much better than having one or both out of the picture

4
booblitchutz 4 points ago +4 / -0

In very few instances does a non married couple raising children work out well. In those few instances when it does, sure that's better, but people who are willing to have kids but unwilling to commit to one another are going to be, generally losers.

Well I agree with you both, I think. (?)

I took it to mean that if for some reason you can't make the marriage work, it does not mean that your commitment to take care of your children disappears. It is irrelevant with regards to your responsibilities to take care of them, but ideally I agree the parents would be married. For all of your above mentioned reasons, precisely.

20
HiddenDekuScrub 20 points ago +20 / -0

You know the sad part? I didn't have to be told.

Never had that chat with my parents. But the ONE time I ever got pulled over, I made a point to look "not dangerous" and not make any sudden moves.

Why didn't I have to be told? Integrity maybe. I knew what I was being pulled over for and I accepted it. (Had a near collision with another car because the turn lane looked weird.) And you know what? The guy let me off. Maybe not being a Karen like that snooty lady in the BMW the other night helps?

13
ModernDayMao 13 points ago +13 / -0

It’s almost like cops are people and treating them like human beings results in a more pleasant interaction.

People on here trying to stir up anti police sentiment because they are gonna “take our guns” you don’t have to worry about that until it happens and y’all know what to do when it does.

10
Modernturnkey 10 points ago +10 / -0

Having worked in law enforcement myself, I can attest to one major thing that blacks do that whites don't, even under the best circumstances when they've done nothing wrong; they act suspicious. Fidget, make glances behind them, rummage through their things, tense up, can't focus on the conversation. All things a person should be wary of, because it's usually the first signs of things going badly. For whatever reason, almost all my encounters with black men have had this, and it makes it impossible to separate the innocent from the guilty in terms of resisting or physical altercations. Add in the phenomenon that majority of black men will sucker punch or escalate a situation at the drop of a hat, and it's not hard to imagine why some officers might be wary.

9
Horkers4Trump 9 points ago +9 / -0

In a sense, I get it - if you were raised your whole life to believe that any and every cop you meet was looking for a reason to kill you, wouldn't you also be nervous?

Unfortunately, nothing that is ever done to reform policing is ever going to change that. That's a culture problem. To solve the problem you have to fix the culture. But the culture never gets challenged, only reinforced. And so the wheel spins.

1
HiddenDekuScrub 1 point ago +1 / -0

Curious. What are your thoughts on this one from the other night? https://djhjmedia.com/kari/busted-bombastic-teacher-in-viral-video-of-abusive-motorist-identified-video/

IMO, She never comes off as threatening, just a massive stuck up jerk.

2
Modernturnkey 2 points ago +2 / -0

That officer has a lot of restraint. But like with a lot of traffic stops, she's trying to elicit a reaction. She's trying to lure him into victimizing her, to give her an excuse to misbehave or cry foul.

Take a look at this.

https://youtu.be/DCySPeF4PkM

He baits these officers, and they fall for it. She was trying to get a payday, just like this guy. Just comply. Don't escalate. It's that easy.

2
poopsalad 2 points ago +2 / -0

sir, i hate to be the one to tell you this. i am really sorry. the tests came back and it appears you have CS

2
guypatriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well you have to consider that the pinnacle of black culture is rap music. It's basically degeneracy in music form, including the indoctrination to hate police. They sell our their own culture for money like savages.

4
ViagraFalls 4 points ago +4 / -0

Lesson 1:

Do not engage in crime.

If you do that, your interactions with police will most likely go alright. If you get a ticket for speeding, then you shouldn't have been speeding. If you're not engaging in crime all the time, you don't have too much to worry about.

1
guypatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

But crime is cool yo, my gangster rap music told me so, I need my street creds

2
ViagraFalls 2 points ago +2 / -0

Rap music is the only excuse you need to send the majority of blacks back to Africa. Why don't we send all the little wannabes with them?

20

10
booblitchutz 10 points ago +10 / -0

1
guypatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Cops aren't always your friend, but it's not so black and white. You need social skills and emotional intelligence to handle police in a case-by-case basis to secure the best possible outcome. If you lack those abilities, then just stay silent, but you will suffer more overall for it.

1
christianknight 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sadly, the percentage of white babies born out of wedlock is growing fast. I'm 100% sure that there are a whole lot of white women being asked who the baby daddy is.

Society would be a helluva lot better off if out of wedlock pregnancies were rare and shameful again. And if all the baby daddies were expected to "do the right thing" again. The current combination of shameless unprotected sex, sperm donors just walking away, and mamas either aborting the baby or relying on the government to raise it is destroying our society.

15
KiritoKatz 15 points ago +15 / -0

I know too many "white" single moms. Clown world will continue thanks to them.

1
deleted 1 point ago +2 / -1
6
Liberty4All 6 points ago +6 / -0

While that is technically true, 29% of white babies and 53% of Hispanic babies are now born out of wedlock. Other races are rapidly catching up in terms of unwed births.

The scariest statistic is that now almost 40% of ALL births in the U.S. are illegitimate. That means that 40% of all children being born are at higher risk of dropping out of school, chronic unemployment, committing crimes and going to jail, abusing alcohol and drugs, having illegitimate children of their own, going on welfare, and living in lifelong poverty.

But the socialists denigrate sexual responsibility, marriage and the nuclear family.

I look really young and was 29 with my first born. One lady told me I should give my baby up for adoption since teens motherhood is hard. I had to tell her I was married, my fingers were too swollen for a ring and to mind her own business. Then after my son was born (he has thick orange hair, I’m brunette) I got asked if I was a nanny. Lots of assholes out there no matter the race.

14

Yeah, but this is more likely to happen to white people. If people see a black woman with a black child, they're going to assume it's the woman's child. This definitely isn't a thing for black women. Not unless they adopt a child of another race or something like that. It doesn't even make any sense otherwise.

Yeah I can't say I've ever seen a black woman with a black child and thought to myself "I wonder if that's hers?"

9
HiddenDekuScrub 9 points ago +9 / -0

I know someone exactly like that. Dark brown hair...gave birth to the most orange-haired kids ever.

Neither of her parents were redheads, but if you think about it, a recessive gene can hide for a few generations. It's a luck of the draw thing.

6
Kpstyles 6 points ago +6 / -0

It’s wild! Both my kids have Fiery orange hair and my husband has Mediterranean skin and brown hair. His father carries Irish genes and my father carries Scotch genes

1
operatorstorm712 1 point ago +1 / -0

There are redheads on my mom's side -- it skips a generation; my mom's dad's dad had red hair -- all of his kids had brown/black hair; Mom had red hair; none of her or her siblings kids had red hair, all brown/black; at least 3 grandkids have red hair. Granted, my son is a lot lighter that anyone on my side of the family, but sure enough: red hair.

9
operatorstorm712 9 points ago +9 / -0

Yeah, I got the "is he yours?" with mine -- he's a strawberry blonde, and his sisters all take after me. But I never got asked if I was the nanny, and yeah, when his complexion really did stand out from the girls and I. I remember one sweet old lady in the doctor's waiting room asking "baby boy, where'd you get that bright complexion from?" -- it was in the summer, so even more contrast...from Daddy, ma'am, from Daddy (definitely didn't get it from me, that's for sure).

Congratulations on the redhead -- I love red hair.

I know young mothers who get asked if they are the nanny.

My sister-in-law is short and looks very young, like a teen mom. Despite having some grey hair in there... she's been asked before if she was the baby-sitter.

Race doesn't matter really.

niacin 5 points ago +5 / -0

Well she definitely takes it as a compliment. Haha, just saying it happens.

2
operatorstorm712 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ok, I can see the baby-sitter quip -- and yeah, it has more to do with how young the person looks, not race. I do live in a part of the country where nannies are not the norm and younger mothers are (and they're predominantly white, like the local population...teenage/early 20s moms are still a pretty common thing in some areas...I had my first kid at 21...went to graduate school after the first two and before the third).

9
centexawesome 9 points ago +9 / -0

I have been asked if my kids are my grandkids more than once. I just chalk it up to being reproductively responsible.

10
operatorstorm712 10 points ago +10 / -0

Hey, just tell them "no, I just kept my reproductive virility longer than most!"

Like I said, my kids have been asked if those were their kids -- nope, Mom and Dad were just incredibly productive! We've got a lot of kids, spread out over a long timeline.

Once a guy stopped my second daughter, pushing her little sister in the stroller: "girl, don't tell me that's your baby"; no sir, it's my sister; "oh good, good, that's sweet -- stay away from those nasty boys; you don't want to be having babies at your age"...thank you for the PSA for my kid random dude; your dedication to civic duty is commendable.

Another time my son got asked, dropping them off at school -- "are those your 2 little girls?" No, they're my sisters. "oh...well how sweet of you to take them to school; they don't look like you at all"...I know.

2
centexawesome 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, I used to like seeing the built in babysitters that the Duggars had.

1
operatorstorm712 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hey, nothing wrong with built in babysitters -- that's one of the advantages! Plus house/farm chores!

Although, I don't like to equate myself or my family with the Duggars. We may be eccentric, but we're not weird and creepy (and I don't have that many kids -- no thank you!).

My kids' only grievance with their older, babysitting siblings tends to be of the "he/she yelled at me [random yet apparently highly important and contentious reason here], and I said 'you're not the boss of me'! and then they said the were! and that's not true is it Mom/Dad?". This is usually spoken with a high decibel and pitch, very quickly, with arm/hand movements as soon as a parental unit walks in the door, gets out of their car (if they meet you at the car; you know it's going to be good). Of course the older siblings are also producing high decibel/pitch protestations of only following orders as they were told to do that heinous, heathen younger siblings are treacherously not doing...complete with arm gestures and machine gun fire rapidity...at the same time as the younger siblings are talking. Family life is grand.

1
penguinjay1212 1 point ago +1 / -0

"Girl, don't tell me that's your baby"

"Bro, dont tell me what neighborhood your stupid ass lives in where you go and assume this shit"

"Are those your 2 little girls?"

"No, I'm not an irresponsible piece of shit, they'd be on the bus if they were mine, obviously."

You've raised your kids to put up with stupid people really well and be tactful, I'd probably be kind too irl, but shit, when im behind a computer screen, I can only wonder WTF is wrong with these people you speak of.

3
operatorstorm712 3 points ago +3 / -0

The guy in question was being all right -- we live in a pretty rural poor area; it isn't uncommon for there to be teenage moms and dads. As for my son...well, he was home on leave, had the reg fade and does look a bit older than his age.

And yeah, for the most part, even though they're just as much mean assholes as their dear old Mom and Dad...my kids can display good manners out in public...as it should be. So, bravo for us.

**also, there are no secrets in the corn ghetto -- and not really any filters either; it's cool; we're used to it

1
penguinjay1212 1 point ago +1 / -0

my b, didn't mean to insult your neighbor, I have a home in a pretty rural area, where most people are alright, but I am glad im not really in a "neighborhood," bc the few people who aren't alright in those parts. I am glad it's just a private road and we're the youngest there with mostly retired folks and no incidents in a long time. So I don't have to deal with the few people who are off. Trust is a funny currency out here. In that way, most of us are rich, even in the corn ghettos (lol) never heard that one before.

I guess I don't know my up the way neighbors that well, or I'm sure I would be able to better understand the prevalence of baby crazy 16-20 year old country girls. I mean, I knew my fair share I guess. I suppose I just don't approve, but with a good family support system, a little less so. The children of the corn do seem to have less problems w fatherlessness in my area. Compared to traditional ghetto ghettos.

I think the destruction of the nuclear family and subsidization of bastards is the biggest problem our society faces. But I might have shown my rear. I don't mean offense. But I think we need to bring the idea of bastard children back, bc there is something wrong with a culture that doesn't shame that or at least encourage better.

2
operatorstorm712 2 points ago +2 / -0

He wasn't "off"; he was just speaking his mind.

There is a difference between somebody being "off", an asshole, and somebody just talking, and the solitary types who everybody knows just don't like to gab....it's the tone of voice, the body language...something you don't get in non-interpersonal communication. Trust cannot really happen unless you speak to people face to face -- a fact that is growing rare even out here; I will miss the passing of a lifestyle I have been party to much of my formative years...they have their good qualities, golden even.

I wasn't baby crazy; I just found the man I wanted to marry (and he, me), and we settled down to marital bliss, and well, had kids. It used to be more common, but now...well, yet another thing that's changing, and not for the better.

Black privilege in childbirth is:

Not giving a fuck about pre-natal care

Showing up to you delivery high as fuck

Having your fat ass mother stealing food trays because she feels entitled to free food

Testing positive for chlymidia, ghonorea, hsv, and expecting the nurses and drs. to treat you the same

Legit not knowing who the father is, and getting mad when asked about it. Bitch, you tested positive for every drug on the chart, have a handful of stds, you ain’t the Virgin Mary.

Having extra nurses scheduled by the hospital during your stay because you are a flight risk. Black women are notorious for leaving their baby in the nursery and leaving the hospital after giving fake or no identification.

Having special social workers assigned to you so you don’t have to try to figure out how to get your child’s social security number and birth certificate on your own.

13
IntrepidBurger 13 points ago +13 / -0

You forgot one:

Killing your kid and getting away with it scot-free

SIDS occurs at much higher rates among blacks than any other demo...

11
ModernKnight 11 points ago +11 / -0

And black women already slaughter half of their children pre-birth, so add about 275,000 per year to that number.

4
penguinjay1212 4 points ago +4 / -0

the only SIDS case I knew personally, was likely a suffocation or genetic defect but was ruled SIDS, kid stopped breathing for some reason, died while in their crib, with very caring parents, no choking or suffocation hazards to be found, and no real indication that was the actual cause, just couldn't rule it all the way out. It was ruled that way bc they couldn't determine why he stopped breathing.

The flip side of that coin makes me sick just bc I know how much care some people put in and have something terrible happen, and to have them grouped in with lazy naggers who killed their kid in the crib (if they had one) w their own ignorance ruffles my feathers bc these were good parents and people I knew.

I noticed SIDS occurs

1.4/1000 blacks .6/1000 whites.

And I can't bring myself to look up the obvious choking/suffocation deaths dy racial demographic and account for lurking variables, bc I think that would bum me out even more.

4
cook_does 4 points ago +4 / -0

28
Mkay 28 points ago +28 / -0

This is all sorts of cringe.

Pain medicine in child birth had more to do with economics than race.

I am a member of a few mom groups and all if them don't care about race.

I have no idea why anyone would ask a mother of she is the nanny. Presumably you share somewhat of the same skin color with your bio kids which makes it obvious. And if a black mom of black children is asked about being the nanny? Then doesn't that suggest people think a black family could have a nanny?

I do worry my kids will be racially profiled. I worry they will accidentally say something innocent and be labeled racist for it. I worry that they will be accused of misappropriation of styles they like. I worry they will live their lives under a microscope with their future education, casters and social lives always under threat.

People ask unmarried and unattached women who the father is. Being married or in a long-term relationship is not a white thing! I have white family members who were asked the same thing when they ended up pregnant and unwed.

Same with financial status. They know poor white people exist right?

With is culturally sensitive prenatal support? When my first was born, the white nurse smashed my baby's white face hard against my white breast. It wasn't a "supportive" environment. And I have read enough stories to confidentially say that birth trauma spans the races.

As far as police protocol, that is fiction as well. We had police visit or school to talk about their jobs and explain how to interact with them. When I learned to drive I was taught what to do when pulled over - hands in plain view, answer honestly and succinctly, don't present a threat. I'm a white woman and at 19 still had a gun pulled on me at a traffic stop by an over eager young cop.

This kind of stuff is so infuriating.

4
penguinjay1212 4 points ago +4 / -0

You are the lead debonker in my opinion. I put my backing behind you, bc I am not so eloquent.

Concise, and profound answer for each article of bullshit in this propaganda piece.

Maddens me too. This BS being fed to people, and people being stupid enough to eat it.

Eventually the influence rubs off on their peers too, even if the person themself wouldn't drink the kool aid, when all their friends do, it's only a matter of time before our waters are muddied with shit.

We need to do what you did, and aggressively debunk and push this Bs right back in their racist and or low IQ faces.

The question we need to ask ourselves: why do these people refuse to take personal responsibility? Because it's easier? Because they are enabled? Or is it because they are incapable?

7

Because the people who took over our institutions are low personal responsibility, low conscientious people. Marxism is the philosophy of the lazy and entitled.

13
AngelMark 13 points ago +13 / -0

White people are killed by cops more than blacks! Could it be because white parents dont talk to their kids about run ins w the police?🤔

2
penguinjay1212 2 points ago +2 / -0

no, just less reservation on the cops' part with white kids bc they won't become a murderer in the eyes of some lynch mob.

All it is is hesitation, all other variables hold the exact same imo.

Shitheads try to outwit the police, the cops just don't pull the trigger as fast on a black person, statistically.

This is why cops are killed by blacks at an increased statistical rate as well.

Hesitate and you shouldn't, boom, hesitate and it turn out ok, great! But the hesitation is the only variable inserted. Not race or whether the kids got taught how to deal w cops. IMO. Respectfully, I dont think you're correct, and I sorta thought you were being ironic/satirical.

11
jubyeonin 11 points ago +11 / -0

Are they really 3x more likely to die during childbirth? A lot of them have like 10-15 kids from three or four fathers.

Also probably why some of them get asked who the father is on their fourth or fifth child from after having the third one be from another guy.

10
Surricat 10 points ago +10 / -0

It probably includes stats from Africa. (That would be my guess)

7
Juanye 7 points ago +7 / -0

This stat means nothing if you don’t look at BMI or other risk factors.

10
GiveMe1776 10 points ago +10 / -0

If any of this is true then it’s the result of the black community perpetuating a culture of degeneracy and glorifying criminals. If you cling to that stupidity, then fuck you, you get what you deserve. If you reject it, then we can find common ground and maybe there’s a way forward.

5
HiddenDekuScrub 5 points ago +5 / -0

And why would anyone ask a pregnant woman who is giving birth if she's the nanny? This is nonsensical shit

1
operatorstorm712 1 point ago +1 / -0

They do; I've been to a few baby showers (that's a topic for another day -- I can't stand wedding/baby showers; understand why people have them -- don't like going to them)....but it tends to be black women who aren't ghetto (which according to this poster all of them are).

4
Spawnlingman 4 points ago +4 / -0
  1. Whites 3x's more likely to survive childbirth.

"The CDC defines a pregnancy-related death as the death of a woman during pregnancy or within one year of the end of pregnancy from a pregnancy complication; a chain of events initiated by pregnancy; or the aggravation of an unrelated condition by the physiologic effects of pregnancy." The CDC also states that this is the reason for non-white death rate during or after pregnancy due to the pregnancy. This has nothing to do with racism, and the black community should probably research as to what is going on.

  1. Being offered pain medication. Bullshit. I checked my white wife OUT of the Howard General Hospital in Columbia, MD 2 days after she had her 3rd C-Section because she was NOT being offered or given pain medication.

  2. White women don't worry about the safety of their child. This is laughable. As white parents, my wife and I spend the better portion of our day saying "NO!" "and THAT will hurt you!" as we steer our 8, 6 and 3 year old away from all types of stupid decision making. If this is a "cops kill our children" implication, whenever my kids see a police officer pulling someone over on our drive home, I say "That guy broke the law. If you break the law you pull over, put on your flashers, hands on the wheel like this, and say yes sir \ yes maam." If we see an ambulance with it's lights on, I tell my kids I always say a prayer for whoever they are going to help. This is called parenting and it's a reason why I won't be as worried for my kids when they turn in to adults.

  3. Having welcoming or inclusive mom groups? Get the fuck out. That's up to your own black community if you want to have these groups. If you don't have them, you're failing yourselves.

  4. Not having to carry the history and violence of being a wet nurse. WTF?

  5. Not being asked if you're the nanny. Again, this does not happen. Period.

  6. Not worrying you're child will get racially profiled. Excuse me, but black cops are just as likely to shoot your black thugs who are out breaking the law as white cops.

  7. Noone asking who the father is. Bragging about how many baby daddies and baby mommas is literally PART OF YOUR RAP CULTURE. You thrive on this shit. It also helps if junior happens to look like the dad.

  8. Having culturally sensitive prenatal, labor and breastfeeding support. AGAIN, this is on YOU guys to make these support groups. If you are failing at it, see above points about your CULTURE and perhaps fix some of it.

  9. Not having to teach your children the protocol for dealing with police. WE DO. WE DO EVERY SINGLE DAMN DAY. The problem is that you feel you don't HAVE to, and that is the problem.

1
Lazy_Melungeon 1 point ago +1 / -0

The leading cause of death for pregnant women in America is HOMICIDE. Why are women of color more likely to be murdered?
Hint: they aren't killed by cops.

So whites women were never wet nurses? Lie. Think I won’t reach my white boys how to deal with police? Cuz I will. My “mommy group” was completely mixed race, it was awesome. And guess what. We all had the same access to healthcare !! Our babies all had the same opportunities. You know what is a bigger indicator than race? BEING MARRIED AND THE DADS HAVING A JOB. That was the common factor in my mommy group. The mom stayed home. The dad worked.

Reminder that slavery being ‘white’ supremacy is a displacement of blame of the sins of the aristocracy onto another group.

American slavery was an attempt of an aristocratic elite to bring aristocratic feudalism to America, which the founders of our country knew were incompatible with their vision of a just and free society.

Slavery is still thriving today in the US is just less visibly and passionately endorsed by people who work hard to appear as social justice warriors.

If a moral man were actually against slavery he would support the complete stopping of human trafficking cartels by any means and only buy American made products. If not, you are profiting off of slavery, just as 200,000 of human civilization has. Western civilizarion was the first civilization to react against and try to abolish slavery in recorded history.

1
operatorstorm712 1 point ago +1 / -0

You can' t have an epidural past a certain point in delivery -- I'm thinking that is what they're conflating here.

You also can't take some pain meds if you have other health conditions that the pain meds could cause problems with -- a lot of black people suffer from hypertension (made worse by pregnancy, you're going to have some issues with pain management).
