Of course they do - being in the UK, I can only dream of having a desert eagle - but trust me, when I become a citizen, that’ll be my first gun purchase.

You don't need to be a citizen my friend, as long as you are a permanent resident you are good to go!

Is that so? That’s good news for wannabe gun owners like myself, but in terms of making sure that only America first candidates get into office, I’d need to be a citizen for that.

Is there any possibility that the citizens of the UK can bloodlessly get their God given, natural right to own firearms back? Seems like if y'all elected enough people on that platform, you could vote to re-legalize responsible gun ownership. Is this just a pipe dream?

I wonder about Australia and New Zealand as well. Can they not vote to restore their own freedoms?

The problem is they and you all recognize it as something to be "voted in" or "voted back in"

The Crux of the 2nd amendment and the constitution in it's entirety is that the government has zero say over people exercising their rights outlined in it.

They are god-given right, inherent to any person. They are not rights GRANTED by the government.

The governments only duty has been to protect the rights of it's citizens, NOT selectively enforce or misinterpret them or change them

The citizens of the UK need to heave ho millions of Invaders first. Those fu€kers are dangerous enough with kitchen knives.

as long as you are not buying the desert eagle .50 cal. that would be a total waste of money.

Don’t waste your money. No one keeps that gun for long.

Had mine for decades.

Don't shoot it much, but I bring it out for other people to shoot anytime I bring it to the range because EVERYONE wants to fire it.

On the other side of the coin, I've never seen anyone who could afford a collection vs the kind of person who wastes money selling his iron and trading it around like a fool sell a Desert Eagle.

To each their own.
