Trump was a smart man and if you got into a conversation with him on business and economics he could make an Professor of Economics head spin. But his language to us was almost at an 5th grade level, peppered with adjectives, that got the message across to all. His words were always simple and too the point and it is something I grew fond of instead of deciphering double speak. I miss his humor.

That's just how he speaks. I wouldn't say its an act but rather a complement to his personality. He's very direct and to-the-point, not wasting time with flowery language or advanced terminology. I think it has hindered him at times, though it's definitely better than the eloquent bullshit spouted by everyone else.

That is just how he speaks...c'mon man! He speaks to his own family that way. Listening to his older videos...he is clearly just an older version of his younger self. Not saying that's bad, being more direct is what everyone loves about him.

Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame) went into this in depth. Trump is a master of persuasion. https://www.scottadamssays.com/2016/02/18/the-trump-master-persuader-index-and-reading-list/

Trump always speaks to the lowest common denominator because he's a salesman.

I learnt this, ironically in 5th grade. I was always articulate for whatever reason, knew and used words the other kids didn't. In grade 4, I didn't make a single friend, was bullied etc, then in grade 5, someone new joined the school, and befriended me, and he was basically the alpha male of our grade, probably our school, upto 7th grade. So i started to figure out then, that was one of the issues, it took me about a year, maybe abit more to change my speech pattern to fit everyone else's. I also started failing classes on purpose, I was probably the top student, or second at that point. I remember, after trying to fail for about a year, that my report card was still better than theirs, and getting shit for it, meanwhile I'm thinking I'm going to get in so much shit for this...That's when I doubled down, didn't do homework, annoyed the fuck out of my teachers, ehhhh. But yeah, absolutely Trump does this, he chooses his language to fit the average person. I think he's done it for so long, it comes off as natural, so much so that, he's almost perceived as a dumbass at times. One of the worst thing you can do in a conversation, is use words that the average person doesn't know the meaning of, it creates an immediate disinterest, and makes them feel intellectually inferior, alot of people anyway, not everyone.

scrobin --- Interesting story and something you see often in the black community with "acting white." I adapt my language to whomever I'm with and I don't need to hear myself speak. Simplifying language puts people at ease and levels the playing field. It took awhile to adjust to Trump speech patterns but he always delivered on his promises. You know someone is telling the truth when they never turn down an interview even from the people that hate you. When they accused him with being racist he didn't run and hide he confronted it and would repeat the statement that was considered racist (bad hombre, rapist, Mexican drug dealers and rapists) because it was the truth. Everyone agreed with him and it was refreshing for someone in power to say the things that were in our heads. Now we are back to the same old shit but now they are changing the rules because they don't care. Hope we can weather this storm because it is going to get worse before it gets better. Scary times.

I'm Australian, so if it gets better there, it won't get bad here. And yeah, the violence from third world countries is absolutely the truth...The only reason why they can argue against that, is because they rely on the fact that most people don't look into it themselves. There are sites that show the most graphic crimes imaginable, but you can't show that on the news...I'll link to a site I found on here yesterday, liveleak and hoodsite have recently retired or been retired. The graphic detail doesn't get worse, so you've been warned!

This is what they want for the rest of us. After watching this stuff, their virtue signaling and propaganda couldn't be less effective. It's not like Trump can say, hey wanna watch a mexican drug cartel cut someone's head off...

scrobin --- Good point about looking inside onself because that means contemplation and reflection and you might not like what you see and when you see it what will you do? If we all truly did this more we would be more developed socially and spiritually but that takes a willingness to question who and what you have become. I try to do this as much as I can and I'm a good listener. It takes a lot to listen, really listen, and the people that can do it can win over even the hardest people. You can almost feel it when they enter the room, they are non-judgemental and good and people just open up to them. My mother-in-law was like that it is pretty amazing to watch. She was spiritual and that spirit entered the room before she did.

Thanks for your response buddy
