There's this idea, which is quite long-standing actually, that the GOP wants to fight for conservative ideals, but is too wimpy to do anything about it. That they just lack the will power to stand up and fight. I'm here to say this is a deception.
The truth is the GOP does NOT actually want what a vast majority of its base wants. They want personal wealth, fame, and/or power, which is what their globalist overlords provide as long they do what they're told. They are the controlled opposition meant to placate our righteous anger just enough to keep us from refreshing the tree of liberty.
This truth was never more clear than during the Trump administration and the 2020 election. While having a majority in both the House and Senate, they did their best to hinder the wall being built or repealing Obamacare. They largely did not nothing while the lawfare wolves perpetuated the Russian hoax and the bullshit 1st impeachment. And when the greatest attack against our nation took place, meaning the blatant fraud of the 2020 election, they did worse than nothing. They went along with it. If there ever was a moment to stand up in unity and actually fight, it was then.
Even after this, the punditry has tried to carry on like business as usual, drumming up outrage against democrat agendas as if nothing ever happened. Be wary of those that keep perpetuating this idea that the GOP is just weak willed, but want to do the right thing . They don't. Their role is the noble loser. This keeps the base engaged and keeps the deception going.
Be wary of those that try to stir up outrage against what the current administration is doing. This should come as no surprise. Dems will do what they do. We should not move on from the election fraud and should remind people every day how serious and damaging it is.
In any case, what happens if we stop believing this lie? I don't know for sure. My hope is that if enough see them for the snakes they are, it might be a catalyst for a change somewhere...be it in more motivation to get into local politics or watching the establishment party wither away or whatever. I just know things will not change if we continue to believe the silver tongued soundbites we've been fed.

We vote for candidates, not the GOP party. We vote for based America First candidates that run under the GOP label in order to win elections and keep evil Democrat globalists out of power, because winning elections in American right now still means either running as a D or an R. That's just the cold hard facts. A huge chunk of the country can't even let go of their addiction to MSM even though they know it's 24/7 lies and propaganda let alone stop voting for the two factions of the Uniparty.
I understand our current predicament quite well. I believe part of the reason we are in this spot is because many actually believe the well practiced platitudes the GOP delivers, but they are just too spineless to actually accomplish them.
As you said yourself, we elect candidates not parties, but the candidate is either a D or R. And "our" candidate is almost always an R. It's the GOP that usually gets our vote as they run on conservative talking points.
All I'm saying is to stop believing they fail to accomplish their goals because they're weak willed and wilt in the face of slanderous opposition and start believing they fail because they want to. If we're ever going to break free of the uniparty's hold, it must start with acknowledging the deceptive role the GOP plays in the uniparty's schemes.
Some of the really Dug-in uni-party members are GOP that are in-place to vote Democrat and go along with communist take over.
