I have heard reports of rising costs of food, and gas throughout the nation. Also, shortages of appliances and other things. MSM is silent since you know who are in control. Thoughts. Inflationary times ahead?

Yes, we will have real, sustained, moderate inflation. Wages are rising because of COVID cash, energy prices are up. Microchip shortages are causing delays in appliances and vehicles. Some industries shut down, and have long, complicated lead times to get to full output.

The upside is that long term debt can be refinanced right now negative real interest rates.

There definitely seems to be shortages of appliances and other home improvement items in my part of Texas. At our local Lowes, people are making decisions on which refrigerator to buy based upon which ones are available within 6-8 weeks. In the past, there were always options available for delivery within a week and other options that would take 10-14 days for delivery, but never two months! Just yesterday, I wanted to order a new garage door and my local company said there is a shortage and mine will be available for installation in 2-3 months! Also, they have already had a couple of significant price increases so far this year.

Was supposed to happen last year. But Trump made deals to check inflation. Now no more Trump expect this get worse and worse.
