Junior year I had a chance to go for a 3 week trip to Paris in this era (lol guess I'm old). My parents wouldn't pay, I wasn't one of "those kids" so it was a lot for me at the time. Didn't take it, instead drove an unregistered and uninsured pos van with a bunch of people to spring break, camping along the way. Thought I made the smart move at the time I figured I had a lot more fun, chicks and freedom than with a bunch of rich bores on a school based trip.
But holy shit if I only knew it was the last chance to see it before it fell.
Tragic. I wanted to travel to Europe when I was younger, probably to dangerous now. Plus can't have guns.
Same. Would love to go to Germany to see the homeland. Not anymore.
