I'm in Houston, the epicenter of refining. Simple economics would tell you we have an abundant supply, so prices should go down, they're not. We are getting played by this joke of an administration.
Baton Rouge here, we too, have a refinery. Gas prices are rising here too. Wondering whether or not that Dem governor will be able to keep us out of the shortage or if he'll throw us to the wolves. (Spoiler alert: he throws us to the wolves.)
There is no shortage where we live, we refine all of it. We should be hearing about the surplus that they have nowhere to store it, therefore lower prices. we"re getting played.
Northshore here. Good to know you're a geographically close friend.
I just mentioned to a guy I know (who thinks like we do) that when we get voting legitimized, Edwards won't stand a chance.
Now, if only we could get the interstate to move traffic fairly, I'd visit BR more often. It should only be 45 minutes drive for me tops.
Right back at you! Every time I think I'm the only one, I get reassured that we're not alone. I hope our Louisiana brothers know we're behind them 100%.
One of the great things about being rural here is that if you don't have a full tank of gas and you're from a major city, you probably aren't getting to us.
Us rural folk have been out of gas since Monday night so we've been traveling to larger towns/cities for gas. I filled up all of my vehicles over the weekend and warned others to do the same but I guess they just enjoy sitting in 2 hour long lines for a $20 limit of gas.
Well. I have gas and ammo and food and shit lots of it. I’m good lol. Also I live in the middle of nowhere so let all the Congolese shoot each other over it at the pump.
The real problem will be when the trucks stop coming in and all the food disappears. Every happy civilized person in the world is 9 missed meals away from killing their neighbors in the street for supplies. Never ever forget that.
Good fucking luck to the lot of em coming out of Raleigh. Everything within 25 miles of Fayetteville has been tapped out since about 10pm last night. The lady who runs the corner store I usually go to said she doubts we'll see any new shipments till Saturday at the earliest. They can scour all they want but they arent finding shit.

Lock and load.

The was announcement of a refinery shutting down some units...probably no place to put the product.

I'm just so tired of all of this bull.
If your last name starts with A-F you go to the gas station on Mondays, if it starts with G-K you go on Tuesdays, ...
Is there some sort of correlation between Communism and rationing?
Communism is unsustainable because once the rats eat you, they have to rely on the government to feed them.
I remember those days. Very depressing!
How? On foot?

Don't care the audit is what's important
How are they going to get there? Without gasoline.
In their gasless cars?

Someone's low on fuel and going to drive to a rural area in the hope of finding some?
Hope they packed sandwiches too.
What are they gonna jog there?
