Disturbingly, pointing out these conflicts somehow brands you an anti-semite. When you're talking about the social and political repercussions of the nation, not the religion.
Discussing the political reasons for these wars should not brand you as anti-semitic.
Pointing out Jews rejected Jesus and Christians should not be defending them like this isn't anti-semitic, either. They chose this when they founded this Israel.
If the prophecies about Israel causing Armageddon are true, it won't be this Israel that causes it. The bible specifically mentions Zion and God's Chosen, which the Bible also says the Jews no longer are. The Jews that acknowledged Jesus and God's Word converted to Christendom long ago.
Watch the comments start rolling in for anti-semitism.... ugh.
The Jews began returning to their ancient homeland long before 1948; not to mention there has always been a Jewish presence in the Holy Land (Mark Twain spoke admiringly of the Jewish women in Jerusalem during his travels there). Israel can defend itself. I've been there several times. Israeli's overall are western, democratic, highly civilized people. Palestinians, overall, not so much. And "Israel" was chosen as the name for the nation because it was the ancient name for the nation, not for the convoluted nonsense you propose.
God clearly states in Hosea, and elsewhere, that He will restore Israel after "2 days" (2 millenia). And on the "3rd day", Jesus will return, and govern the remnant of Israel. At this point, those who rejected Jesus will kneel before Him.
Israel was destroyed in 70 AD. The first day ran from 30 AD, when Jesus died and rose, to 1030 AD. The second day runs from 1031 AD to 2030 AD.
As you stated, Israel was restored in 1948, during the second day. They are currently a synagogue of satan, but God plans to address that.
Ever wonder why Jesus rose on the 3rd day, and not the first? Or the second? Or the 4th?
I've been saying this forever. Thanks for posting this Patriot.
