Just saw my grandma today after bringing her some food. She called me because she was very sick and needed me to get her some soft foods she could eat.
She came down with a severe urinary tract infection, which started about 10 days after her second shot of the vaccine. I'm very confident that the two are related. I tried to warn her not to get the shot, but she wants to travel again and was worried about Covid due to her age as well. Today she was trying to give away all of her furniture while I was there and talking like no one would ever visit her house again. She visibly looked like she lost weight, especially in her face. She looked like a different person from when I saw her a week ago.
I've heard the stories about the vaccine and side effects posted online, but it doesn't really hit you until you see it in person. I believe at a minimum the vaccine may be too much for the immune system to handle, even if there isn't something more sinister at play.
We have a family friend that is recovering from a stroke that was induced by a blood clot in her brain. 2 weeks after Pfizer #2.
Edit: she is a conservative Christian, MAGA as can be... she is just a “normie” - a victim of thinking Fox News is telling her the truth. She trusted that if Trump said it’s OK then it is. The vast majority of Trump voters are like her... they don’t follow this site or know the deep dark story. They are everything through a blurred lens. I don’t know how we reach those people, but they are never going to be the type of people that “we here” are. She isn’t even conscious enough to truly grasp what happened since her stroke, but we all know what caused it.
Tell her to take cranberry capsules for the UTI. After my mom started taking them, she never had another problem again and she used to have to go to the doctors several times a year.
I know 6 people who had severe reactions, 5 with blood pressure issues. 5 went to ER.
My mom says 3 of her co-workers who were adamant about getting the vaccine developed terrible back/ shoulder/ muscle pains after getting their 2nd dose.
My Dr. (who isn’t even pro Trump) was telling me that a majority of their patients maintained some form of bruising past 4-6 weeks and redeveloped shingles after having previously overcome it.
Theres people on Instagram who post messages from people reporting side effects from the vax or even from being around people with the vax. There are so many! All kinds of weird ass symptoms. I started following due to having family members with problems. Sure enough many others have had the same reaction.
