It's hard to walk into a place that doesn't have a help wanted sign, they probably still need to get rid of the stupid mask signs and health check nonsense if they want it though.

I do think that it is a deterrent when people have to wear a mask all day while working. I think some people might like to work, but are turned off thinking they have to wear a mask for 6-8 hours. If they can stay home and get unemployment bonuses that is much better than having to suffocate and work for the money...these companies need to end masking and states need to end unemployment bonuses.

Had the everlasting unemployment not been made so available, we probably would have seen more push back from employees as well on the BS. A cashier for example probably doesn't have a lot holding them back from moving from store X to store Y if both want employees, but only one muzzles them and treats them like lepers.

Shoot my job now says you have to show a green checkmark if you been vaccinated and you won't have to wear a mask in the building anymore.

Sounds like some star of David Jewish arm ban Germany type bullshit!

Good, I’ve been seeing a lot of WAGIES acting really BOLD and far to comforting getting these handouts which in many cases are double their regular salary.

Yeah, but for those of us who are out of work and were used to a good salary, that bonus really helped make up for the massive shortfall of not having a job.

People talk about help wanted signs, but places where you see those typically aren't hiring for $100k a year positions....

Your not wrong, if government is going to force a large portion of society at threat out of work and especially a good paying job they better damn well make up for it, but the bonus should have always been based on income.

I wonder what effect it will have on consumer debt with people getting used to living off more than they normally were, I doubt many are just stocking the money away for an emergency fund.
