It is already a felony. It's called treason. Aka Grand Conspiracy

15
Sodapopinski 15 points ago +15 / -0

Treason doesn’t exist in America.

11
bingbong69420 11 points ago +11 / -0

It does if you're not part of the cabal. Ask Roger Stone.

1
DarthHonkler 1 point ago +1 / -0

Does this apply to crimes committed in the past?

13
Tejas_Pepe 13 points ago +13 / -0

It is already a felony.

It's in violation of the Constitution. Just before the November election, the Supreme Court made that ruling and clearly stated only state legislatures can enact or alter election laws.

After the election the SC refused to take the same case brought by Texas. They knew they would have to throw out results in nearly every state. They were cowards.

Oh look, another new and pointless law for our illicit government to ignore.

3
zman810 3 points ago +3 / -0

Came here to say this.

50
kornesque 50 points ago +50 / -0

Wait...they just made breaking the law illegal? That's brilliant and explains why nobody is going to jail for their crimes. Genius.

7
excaliboor 7 points ago +8 / -1

I know you think it’s weird but You can’t indict without a clause in laws which precisely defines the punishment. A judge would be able to give one man a month in jail for massmurder and another man lifetime for a parking ticket.

Whether this particular law had a punitive part is out of my scope of knowledge.

https://www.britannica.com/topic/punishment

1
peltast 1 point ago +1 / -0

Irrespective of punishment, it should be cause for nullification.

1
kornesque 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks, that makes sense. Still repugnant but that doesn't matter one iota in current year.

MAGAsian 22 points ago +23 / -1

This reminds me of that Dave Chappelle standup where his friend goes "I'm sorry officer, I didn't know I couldn't do that" and the officer goes "well now you know, get the fuck outta here". Katie Hobbs should be arrested.

17
philnmdg 17 points ago +17 / -0

You mean it isn't already a felony? So this makes it a double felony? THROW HER ASS IN JAIL

1
iamherefortheluls 1 point ago +1 / -0

to be fair, there is usually no reason to specifically write 'the legal process for X is A, B, C... and doing otherwise is a felony'

Because until recently when someone doesn't go with the legal process described in 'A, B, C', the quick counter was to point that out to a judge who would than immediately tell the offending party to cut that shit out - and the judge is in position to assign as much or as little punishment as needed to get compliance.

The legislature had no reason to expect that both the executive and the judicial branch would be so ridiculously compromised that the former could blatantly break the law, get sued over it, only for the later to go 'meh... racial justice or some such bullshit. You can't prove that them not following the law inflicted injury on you yet, so go away'. Which is kind of what happened in our case.

HEXEN 12 points ago +14 / -2

When will be people be hanged for treason and go to jail?

None of the laws stopped them from stealing the election. This will be just another one they get to ignore.

I like that there's traction being made, but it really feels like we're being duped, because they completely ignored all the traction we gained last time.

8
onemoretimeagain22 8 points ago +8 / -0

Laws are for the law abiding apparently. The communist don't have to follow those pesky laws.

2
TheGamerToTheRight 2 points ago +2 / -0

And even when its proved that elections around the country were stolen- then what? I have yet to hear anyone with the capabilities to do anything tell us what will be done. Sure, "fixing the system" for the next time is great, if they can get the laws passed given the number of people who were fraudulently elected that can stop it.

But I want answers on what will happen to the people who committed and benefited from the fraud. Every single last one of them should be removed from office, and given the choice of the gallows, the firing squad, or being drawn and quartered. Live on TV. This should never happen again, and everyone involved should be made an example of, Left AND Right, top to bottom.

2
Fabius 2 points ago +2 / -0

Never.

The country is corrupt. You would have to have laws for people to be charged with crimes. You live in a tyranny and the only way out is with violence.

1
excaliboor 1 point ago +2 / -1

Easy to ask for blood if you expect others to spill it.

12
Pepbrandt 12 points ago +12 / -0

Have you heard her speak? She sounds like a college-aged AOC. How on earth did she get elected?

2

She was literally cheated in. Just look at how she did.

1
Buck_Fiden 1 point ago +1 / -0

Kamala has just been entered.

7
UsernameChexOut 7 points ago +9 / -2

Pretty sure this was illegal before. Problem isn't really how illegal it is. Problem is that nobody is held accountable now and nobody will be held accountable in the future. She already couldn't do it, and yet she did it anyways cause GOP are cucks and will never do anything about it. Unless you're fully prepared to go through with the enforcement of these laws, this is nothing but empty sabre rattling.

6
CommunismIsForLosers 6 points ago +6 / -0

So, they won't enforce their own subpoenas but we think they'll enforce this?

6
Robust_Safeguard 6 points ago +6 / -0

Oh im sure you dont need to pass new laws so that you can make felonies for her. She has already commited plenty

But they had to or else Zuckerberg would claw back the money he bribed them all with.

The hefty grants issued to each of the five Wisconsin cities came with “clawbacks,” meaning the Center for Tech and Civic Life could take back the funding if the cities didn’t do what CTCL asked.

CTCL threw money around in AZ and NV too.

How CTCL Helped Biden in Arizona and Nevada

Meet the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL), which funneled an unprecedented $350 million from Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, to local elections officials for COVID-19 “relief.” In a blink, CTCL grew from almost nothing—its 2018 revenues were just $1.4 million—to a titan with the means to heavily influence election outcomes in favor of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in key battleground states.

As part of our ongoing investigation into CTCL’s spending, the Capital Research Center has traced “Zuck bucks” to Arizona and Nevada.

With the extension of the voting deadline itself should be a valid reason to decertify the result of the election and put the SOS in jail. If that is not a felony or treason, I don't know what is.

4
DotheDeau 4 points ago +5 / -1

"you can kill me now, because you killed me before" - The soft White people of America

4
shogun5000 4 points ago +5 / -1

Yeah, ok, I'm sure that'll be enforced, lol.

4
stonepony 4 points ago +4 / -0

The AZ House passed a bill that says breaking the law is illegal...

1
peltast 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, but, this time, they're serious.

3
LWGII 3 points ago +3 / -0

So what? You rig an election to win. Winners decide what to prosecute, and more importantly, what not to prosecute.. Where have you been?

3
NvJohansson 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fuck your future incentives, fix the steal now

2
chickeninoven 2 points ago +3 / -1

Big deal. Let me know when someone is prosecuted.

2
TNVol 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hobbs should hang.

2
Btcox 2 points ago +2 / -0

I hope some day there is a Seal Team operation devised to take care of Soros.

2
Spacemonkey 2 points ago +2 / -0

Then they need to apply that retroactively and arrest her

2
nickybops 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hahahahaha so its doubly illegal now?

2
RedPillosopher1776 2 points ago +2 / -0

A crime was committed under existing law and needs to be punished as such, the fact that the crimes are not being punished is why the people are increasingly turning against the illegitimate government.

2
Anon331717 2 points ago +4 / -2

A little late dontcha think?

4
Leatherwood [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not at all. Better late than never. Hobbs already violated federal law because she bypassed the legislature.

2
QLARP 2 points ago +3 / -1

Do they have to go to the legislature when they move a polling location?

2
Anon331717 2 points ago +4 / -2

Yes but it does no good ex-post facto

1
peltast 1 point ago +1 / -0

No standing.

2
TheGamerToTheRight 2 points ago +2 / -0

Its a violation of the US Constitution. How is it not already a felony?

2
schiff_for_brains 2 points ago +2 / -0

Anybody who fails to perform their job so spectacularly needs to be removed and forever labeled as a failure.

2
substantialmajestic 2 points ago +2 / -0

We are also going to need a bill that makes disobeying a federal law (that makes disobeying an election law) illegal.

Better yet, let's make it illegal to disobey a bill that makes it illegal to disobey a bill that makes it illegal to disobey a bill that makes it illegal to disobey a bill.

2
WilliamMunny6 2 points ago +2 / -0

Does it matter? Like anyone is going to files charges.

1
CanadianTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

lmao lmao

Pillow Americans. If it was wrong then the election was moot for fuck sakes.

1
Trumps_legacy 1 point ago +1 / -0

a year to dam late, she was sucessful with her mission to fuck up the election

1
LiteraIIyHitIer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why do you need a new law?

Why not just enforce the ones already in place?

1
Fabius 1 point ago +2 / -1

You still think there is going to be a next time?

1
pbarnett865 1 point ago +1 / -0

So they made breaking the law illegal? Geniuses!

1
magaroll 1 point ago +1 / -0

oh no it will be illegal, I guess they wouldn't dare do it now because they will be charged and convicted right?

right?

1
LetsNukeChina 1 point ago +1 / -0

Does not matter. All rules being changed to help dems.

1
thelastlast 1 point ago +1 / -0

wasn't it already??

0
Monsterfan 0 points ago +1 / -1

This is ridiculous. This law will be ignored just like all the others.

0
Hugh 0 points ago +1 / -1

Just in time to be worthlessly late

0
peltast 0 points ago +1 / -1

So, that'll mean TWO harshly worded memos!
