I'll be honest - I'm kind of an asshole, so my reserve of caring was already pretty small to begin with, but the last few years have exhausted my supply of empathy. I certainly have a hard time caring much about a famous musician relative to the rape victims who don't have millions of dollars, mansions, and adoring fans to tell them how awesome they are and how express empathy for their plight.
