Him donating his salary was nothing compared to the hit in his net worth. I doubt he cares much about the money either. He did what is right for the country and he is creating a legacy that can’t be bought. He has been showing how corrupt all of our politicians are and he is showing a path towards righting the system. If he succeeds, his legacy will far out live Trump towers.
Just imagine the history books if they weren't being torched and edited by the globohomos.
Taking no salary. Losing net worth. Taking flak every day. Surrounded by political enemies, even inside his own office. And Loved only by the very people he fights for. The common man. Wow. What a timeline..
They'll Nero him. For those that don't know, Nero (of the "fiddling while Rome burned" fame) is actually thought to have been well regarded and at least competent, and the stuff that the average person knows about him today is all smears from his enemies after his death.
If he did anything criminal with muh tax returns. The deranged media would have leaked it long time. They hyped this muh tax returns so much that it got engraved into the minds of the sheep. So turning around to tell the sheep he is clean will get the voting base revolting so let's keep up the lie.
He must be the cleanest man in Earth. They have been searching for a crime for at least five years to go after him. It’s absolutely amazing that they haven’t found anything.
A pattern showed up when I was reading Will Durant.
A man does well as a youth, joins the army, becomes a military hero, comes home, is private for a while, then goes public, tries to clean out the corruption, becomes king, and does a hundred reforms to help his country.
Then he dies. And his son became king. The son grew up in the palace, didn't join the army, only cares about his own pleasures, and wrecks everything.
Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia -- they all had several examples of this pattern.
Many kings lived and died with their country, they had an incentive to keep it alive. Granted, not all did, some ruined their countries by greed or incompetence anyway.
Today's elites don't have the same incentive, if the country goes totally under they merrily skip off to the next one and build a new enclave there.
I understand and agree with the point of your post title, but your question brings to mind Anastasius, who took control of the Byzantine Empire, uprooted corruption, fixed the currency, refilled the empire's treasury, lowered and eliminated unpopular taxes (including eliminating income tax), got rid of the grifting "sports teams" (chariot teams) and restored order, beauty, and religion to the empire.
I hope Trump isn't finished with his public service efforts, but if he is, I hope someone else can take up the torch and Make America Great Again.
EDIT: I almost forgot! He also built a huge border wall on the western border of the empire, and a huge fortress to help protect the eastern border of the empire.
I agree. I don't begrudge people who've made an empire. It's when they use that empire to try to dictate public policy and force some shitty vax on the world that I take exception.
Jesus Christ, King of Kings, who suffered and died for our sake and rose again on the third day. He will come again, and on that day may we be judged worthy. Amen.
Nice, but I guarantee you the historians of this site will find a King that fits your description, worked hard every day and fought with his life for his subjects and for his kingdom.
Imagine donating your entire salary as President and still getting investigated and harassed by the fake news media about your taxes. Scum of the earth these people.
He doesn't hide his wealth, in an attempt to gaslight "the plebs". He says, "Hey, I have the money. Why not make my office look like a fucking palace?" He likes to flex his success, and show the world "the American Dream".
He's his own man in every way. He enjoys McDonald's, eats his steak well-done with ketchup, speaks his mind, and doesn't follow "dress etiquette" (ie: often wears his suits open, and his tie passes his belt).
But the media told me he did it to make money and to gift off his followers. I am confusion LOL. Also I'd like to know when he was in my house to take this picture?
Yeah, a king that works like a mule for the benefit of the common man, lost almost HALF his net worth during his "reign", was ruthlessly lied too, smeared and family threatened and when the "serfs" wanted a new ruler, it still took rigging for him to "lose" and walked away without bloodshed.
If anyone could find me a king just like that, I'll eat my socks. After walking for 10 miles.
It’s no exaggeration at all that you’d have to look back to the founders for examples of people who literally put their lives, fortunes and sacred honor (and of their families as well) on the line for this country.
I do believe there are Kings that did this. Aristotle said the best form of government is a kingship where the king loves his country and is smart. Second best is a republic.
> No wonder he was reportedly quoted saying the white house is "a dump" (it's true, whether he said it or not- certainly compared to this incredibly ornate facility!)
I hope he takes his salary next time. This country doesn’t deserve his free labor tbh.

The guy is a living legend, you summed it up very well.
Hopefully we win this so we write the history books. If he gets the elections secured and fixed, he should be considered to be put on Mount Rushmore.
Do or do not, there is no try.
If he succeeds. If he doesn’t, they will erase him from history.
If he doesn’t succeed, he won’t be erased from the history books. They want to make an example of him so nobody tries it again.
They'll Nero him. For those that don't know, Nero (of the "fiddling while Rome burned" fame) is actually thought to have been well regarded and at least competent, and the stuff that the average person knows about him today is all smears from his enemies after his death.
Don't be a doubter. HE WILL SUCCEED.

He can't keep getting away with this!
Jesus
JESUS CHRIST
IS LORD AND SAVIOUR
Not fair.

Pretty sure Jesus.
Needs P.W photoshopped on the screen. :-)

That works too, fren
I believe the word benevolent has fallen out of the public vocabulary.
Originally kings were intended to do the work and put their kingdom first. They ruled with benevolence.
A pattern showed up when I was reading Will Durant.

I grew up reading Durant.
I think it's more of a 3 generation thing more often, but you are correct in the causality. Works the same way with family fortunes.
Strong frens make many tendies
Weak frens eat all the tendies :(
No tendies lead to bad times. 😡

Or to their dual citizenship stolen land.

Came here for politics; learned history instead.
Thank you fren.

Just watched that episode of Unbiased History. Totally based.
This. This is what I come here for. I love History.

So what if he lives like a king? He fucking earned it

Christ the King
Jesus
that room is pretty rad, Mar-a-lago?
The Real White House
I'm a bit jealous of his multi-screen monitor.
I thought I had a sweet setup.
Christ
Jesus of Nazareth
Jesus Christ, King of Kings, who suffered and died for our sake and rose again on the third day. He will come again, and on that day may we be judged worthy. Amen.
^THIS
Shitty carpenter though.
I can name one and maybe only one...... Jesus

Not all Kings were bad..
Harold Godwinson, Alfred the Great, Olaf Tryggvason.
King David, maybe?
.....it’s close.
I'll name a king....Jesus Christ.
Jesus
I think this office is nicer then the Oval office. Probably smells better too.
I've realized that luxury fades over time. It becomes a pretty lining around one's life, but not much else.
Good people will work to better mankind. Bad ones will work to enslave it.
Imagine donating your entire salary as President and still getting investigated and harassed by the fake news media about your taxes. Scum of the earth these people.
Leonidas has entered the chat.
The best thing about Trump is how honest he is.
I was amazed at how hard Trump worked...for us. At the beginning of his term, I liked him and by the end of his term, I loved him.
But the media told me he did it to make money and to gift off his followers. I am confusion LOL. Also I'd like to know when he was in my house to take this picture?
The Roman emperor Aurelian -- who I have been saying for years Trump is just like, and the similarities get stronger all the time.
Name one President, ever, who worked as hard for this people and did it for free.*
I respect King's of Old who used to ride into battle with their men. Trump is the closest thing we've had to that in a while.
We was kanz n sheeeiiit
And soon to be President again. If he still wants to.
The first kings, like Alfred the Great, were champions of the people. They organized the people to defend themselves against parasitic predators.
Not only for free, but lost a ton of net worth in the process
Thats Midas right there.

One King died for us. There is no other Name.
I do believe there are Kings that did this. Aristotle said the best form of government is a kingship where the king loves his country and is smart. Second best is a republic.
He took a step down working in the Oval Office.
What an office! <3 <3 <3
> No wonder he was reportedly quoted saying the white house is "a dump" (it's true, whether he said it or not- certainly compared to this incredibly ornate facility!)
King David.......maybe.....it’s close....
Charlemagne. Alexander the Great. King David. Caesar.
Good company if you ask me,
and risked his money and reputation.
David. That man went through some raw sewage (literally) for his people.

No Maricopa audits?
He lives like an emperor, more like.
Wrong DRUMPFTARD! He worked for a dollar!
