So as I said I am willing to give Trump what time he needs but if he should fail, then yes I expect we will see a second civil war in our lifetime.

The Democrats aren't going to destroy our country in four years in a way that Trump cannot fix. Way I see it, Trump is "earning" the public's trust to move faster in his second term than his first.

What you described is soft accelerationism. You're cool with the democrats flooring the gas pedal on their shitty policies, so that more normies realize what's happening, take the red pill, and we have a greater chance of fixing things.
I'm not "cool" with it, but I am recognizing that 1) Democrats have to accelerate because of Trump (he won the most votes of any president and may even have flipped California) and 2) it's providing an opportunity for low-information voters to warm up to the America we had under Trump, if not the man himself. Again, not cool with it, just recognizing that this is how it seems to me to be playing out. I personally much prefer Trump had crossed the Rubicon so we wouldn't be in this mess at all. But that didn't happen.
He needs? Perhaps reframe as "we". Generals are important but its ultimately soldiers who fight and determine the battles outcome. No General, no matter how courageous and brilliant, can win by himself. This is our time. He's trying to keep us supplied, guided and motivated but right now, what happens, is primarily up to us.
My perspective is that we have been and currently are in the midst of a cold civil war that is at serious risk of going hot. Trump has specifically said he has a plan (interview with Sebastian Gorka) and that anyone who resorts to violence is “not a true believer”. So as I said I am willing to give Trump what time he needs but if he should fail, then yes I expect we will see a second civil war in our lifetime.
I did not mean to imply, by my choice of general/soldier, that our efforts were to be violent. Instead, I was seeking to emphasize the differing roles and shifts in responsibility ie during this stage, how things turn out is PRIMARILY up to us, not President Trump, although hes still vitally important.
The military choice seemed apt in the sense that our survival is on the line just as it is in war. And, in order for us to win, the same willingness to embrace sacrifice, suffering, casualties and martyrs is required. That's why I opted for general/soldiers rather than coach/players. Based on your feedback, perhaps I should have included by. Thank you.

Perhaps consider that what he means by "stay tuned" may differ from how you're taking his words? Stay tuned likely means to keep paying attention. It does NOT mean, sit around and do nothing but wait to see what OTHER PEOPLE are doing to save you and all of us. Stay tuned = pay attention.
Additionally, "stay tuned" is likely a message to weaklings letting them know that they are not operating in secret anymore. In fact, the world is tuned in and watching everything they do. Hopefully this knowledge will inspire the weaklings to do the right thing.

Yes, the way President Trump describes people and gives them nicknames, is VERY customary for where he's from, New York. Its also very customary for all Americans from his generation.
