Mixing stimulants and depressants is quite common. Common combinations are coke or meth with an opiate.
So far the mixing of fentanyl and other drugs is usually done at the near retail level. The QA protocols are pretty loose at the local dealer’s coffee table, leading to strings of ODs when bad batches hit the street.
