I was a data analyst for 25 years or so. I always said that I could make the data say whatever you needed it to say. Want to sell the CEO on an idea? Just tell me what to argue and I'll find the data to support it. Want to sell him on the exact opposite? No problem, we'll just use different data and different perspective.

Could never imagine doing something like that with life/death on the line though.
