Worth it.

He'll also be a hero in prison.

He's actually only serving 4 months. The rest is suspended, per the article.

Eh, common enemy.

2

As if they like Macron.

36
_-Th0r-_ 36 points ago +36 / -0

The amazing thing was it was such an effeminate slap that I have now come to calling it “French slapped.”

It would be embarrassing to even press charges for such a ... soft touch.

Joe Biden’s sniffs are more violent.

39
Weero 39 points ago +39 / -0

IMO the effeminate slap is an even greater insult to Macron, implying he can't handle anything greater.

23
Spicy_maymay 23 points ago +23 / -0

Insult? He probably got an erection

13
Donald_Gear_Solid 13 points ago +13 / -0

He was like "My geriatric wife slaps me harder than that while she pegs me"

11
FetchQuestTroll 11 points ago +11 / -0

Each of the preceding 3 comments sounds true which is funny as fuck, let me tell you!!

4
PerchingEagle 4 points ago +4 / -0

Macron's gotta bone.

2
clownworld30330 2 points ago +2 / -0

Think his mommy-wife slaps him?

7
Wrathofwretchcmox 7 points ago +7 / -0

100% this. That faggy slap is a huge insult. He’s also into HEMA 😂 He’s a hero, honestly.

4
Standingoak 4 points ago +4 / -0

He is French--Bitch Slapped double meaning.

4
USAcolyte 4 points ago +4 / -0

There's honestly something about a well executed slap. I got in fights way back in high school. This one punk was pushing some smaller kid to the ground and I remember looking at him, a foot shorter than me, and thinking "if I even hit this fucker he's gonna break." So I just backhanded him in front of everyone. I still remember that one slap, Don't even remember most of the fights anymore. It's like saying "You're beneath me" without even having to say it.

1
Truelies 1 point ago +2 / -1

But it was a great hit on the little Napoleon pride.

135
AceOfTrumps 135 points ago +135 / -0

I've heard of a speedy trial, but holy shit... The slap happened this week, right?

109
MICHIGANisRED 109 points ago +109 / -0

Meanwhile, there's still patriots from the 6th sitting in prison awaiting trial.

42
Trump2024 42 points ago +42 / -0

Hopefully Putin will mercilessly embarrass the fuck out of Biden.

38
BeefChucker 38 points ago +38 / -0

Biden embarrasses the fuck out of Biden. From falling up stairs, losing the teleprompter and speaking nonsense, to attempting to sexually groom prepubescent girls on camera

14
Trump2024 14 points ago +14 / -0

That's all true and accurate. Being publicly humiliated by the head of one of our country's biggest threat tops all of that at this moment.

15
BeefChucker 15 points ago +15 / -0

Russia is not remotely one of the country’s biggest threats. The barbarians are inside the gates and running the show

6

2

Have they been charged with a crime yet?

21
BeefChucker 21 points ago +21 / -0

I believe the charges are “unarmed nonviolent insurrection” and “murder of someone who did not die” along with the lesser charge of “hurting AOC’s feelings”

3
Xuvial 3 points ago +3 / -0

AOC: "I was FEARING for my LIFE, those could have been my FINAL MOMENTS!"

(she wasn't even present in the same fucking building lmao)

5
Highspergamy 5 points ago +5 / -0

Most are getting violent or unlawful entry, Parading or picketing unlawfully in a government building. Assault on Federal Officer

Obstruction of Congress in an official proceeding. Which carries up to 20 years.

This is essentially what they charge mafia figures with who threaten to put a hit on a judge's family if he doesn't throw the case in their favor.

5
deleted 5 points ago +5 / -0
3
Highspergamy 3 points ago +3 / -0

They arrested 7 or 8 in the last week or so.

3
Highspergamy 3 points ago +3 / -0

Like 18 in 2 weeks.

3
Highspergamy 3 points ago +3 / -0

A handful have been charged with conspiracy to obstruct congress. Not sure what that means.

2
ChippingToe 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think it means they were trying to obstruct congress pede

1
Highspergamy 1 point ago +1 / -0

I mean from a legal liability standpoint. Since simply obstructing could fetch up to 20 years, I'm not sure what conspiracy to obstruct entails. Could the sentences run consecutively? w Would it add points to your case total, that the judge would then refer to for sentencing guidelines? I saw that one dude that just walked in once the doors and the chamber were open, participated in a group prayer and left, pled guilty to Obstruction of Congress in exchange for dropping the other charges. He was only inside for about 20 minutes. He hasn't received sentencing yet, but the article said sentencing guidelines for him recommend 19-24 months.

-2
chickeninoven -2 points ago +25 / -27

Don't worry, Trump is laser-focused on getting that sorted out.

Right after he hawks the vaxx again.

3
Staatssicherheit 3 points ago +4 / -1

So when do you guys turn on DeSantis for doing the exact same thing?

2
Highspergamy 2 points ago +2 / -0

DeSantis has yet to claim that he's saved 100's of millions of lives by forking over tens of billions to Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, While platforming Fraudci.

1
Staatssicherheit 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hi, this is Governor Ron DeSantis. We have great momentum with vaccine distribution in Florida as we remain focused on our senior population. Florida is putting Seniors First. More than 50 percent of the total vaccinations administered in the state have been for individuals 65 and older, and we continue to accelerate this rate.

Innovative pilot programs, such as the ones we’ve launched with Publix as well as with our places of worship, will ensure the vaccine is as accessible as possible and incentivize swift deployment by our partners on the ground.

1
Highspergamy 1 point ago +1 / -0

Choosing to not be the only governor to refuse to accommodate the distribution of the vaccine to his state's willing recipients isn't the same as saying that you saved the world and 100's of millions of lives, from a disease that killed maybe 3 million people in one year, because you gave 10's of billions of dollars and a rubber stamp to corporations infamous for bribing governments, falsifying data to market dangerous drugs, being caught and settling cases for using 3rd world children as guinea pigs, and for knowingly selling defective life critical medical devices resulting in hundreds of deaths. Corporations, some of which were already actively suppressing cheap and effective prophylactics and therapeutics to ensure the old government trough would get a good slopping.

Still, I do have issues with some things

DeSantis has done, but you can't let perfection be the enemy of the good. Especially in times like these.

1
Staatssicherheit 1 point ago +1 / -0

The demand for the vaccine is high, and I’ve been very clear that we will work to support high-performing health care providers that exceed their targets for vaccine distribution. If you are doing a good job of getting shots in arms, we will prioritize you to receive additional supply.

> prison

# doubt

Either county or a federal holding facility, which is usually a county jail

27
QuickHands 27 points ago +27 / -0

Muh semantics

Let me go ahead and strip search you and check inside your asshole for contraband and take away your human rights, but it's OK! You're only going to a holding facility, not prison

1
deleted 1 point ago +3 / -2
-4
AceOfTrumps -4 points ago +4 / -8

Forgot to mention, if you say they're in prison what you're saying is that these people are formerly convicted felons that broke parole or have just been convicted of high crimes.

You want to say they're being imprisoned, fine. But saying they're in prison is retarded. Ignorance here is a choice

6
MICHIGANisRED 6 points ago +6 / -0

You're correct. I'm retarded. I shouldn't have said prison, that was careless. I do know the difference, but that wasn't really my point. Innocent people are locked up. Feel better now? I'd hate to put misleading information on the interweb. <rolls eyes>

-2
AceOfTrumps -2 points ago +2 / -4

I acknowledge your sarcasm.... But seriously way different. A) they're in worse conditions than prison most likely & B) they aren't convicted felons like being in prison implies

Shrug what it is man, I didn't make the rules

-5
AceOfTrumps -5 points ago +3 / -8

Semantics... No, they're very different environments.

You don't get strip searched in jail. You don't get parole in jail. You can't buy a personal tv in jail. You can't get a paying job in jail.

Most people that have been up both say they prefer prison. County sucks.

2
Highspergamy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Prison is usually the Ritz-Carlton compared to county jail.

30
RobHatmaker [S] 30 points ago +30 / -0

Yes

14
NvJohansson 14 points ago +14 / -0

I've lived in a few countries, and afaik our legal system's procedural time is beyond ridiculous. I mean all these six months wait time for this another year for that. You commit a crime, you before the judge your sentenced and you're off to prison or you're free to go. Look at Kyle, he's sitting in solitary confinement for like almost a year. Or the capitol protesters for months on end and after all that might get off scot-free. Have even been charged with something? That's pretty fucked up in the land that stands for freedom and democracy.

10
Trump2024 10 points ago +10 / -0

Look at Kyle, he's sitting in solitary confinement for like almost a year

Kyle has been out on bond for several months now.

6
AceOfTrumps 6 points ago +6 / -0

I think it's true for all states that they have to charge you within 48 hours or release you. I'm from the great lakes area and I know that's true for certain all surrounding states except Wisconsin & Illinois.

There's also the 8th amendment, which is supposed to prevent excessive bail... But obviously it's not worth the paper it's made of... Because $1mil for almost anyone would be considered excessive

3
RegularAmerican 3 points ago +3 / -0

I have spent a good amount of time in the Philippines. Like several months, traveling the 7,000+ islands. I only saw a handful of them and spent most of my time on Luzon. I asked some friends about why the country is so blatantly corrupt. They told me that the government there is nearly an identical copy to the United States. Anyone who wants to see what we're becoming should look at the Philippines. But with alot more hatred towards christians and white people

4

18 months. how lenient.

2

His lawyer should have asked his client one question:

"What kind of wasp landed on his head?"

If I was his lawyer he would not have spent a day in jail.

30

Assault on a head of state. Didn't some Iraqi guy get 3 years for throwing a shoe at George Bush and missing?

19
christianknight 19 points ago +20 / -1

That Iraqi knew the truth that we didnt want to hear back then.

13
NvJohansson 13 points ago +13 / -0

I did, l was called a terrorist symathizer, conspiracy theorist, anti-American coward... has a Libertarian my stance on war still hasn't changed. Whatever happens else where is not our problem unless directly declared on or attacked, obviously . You know, kind of like America first?

9
christianknight 9 points ago +10 / -1

I wasn't just called a terrorist sympathizer. I was called the terrorist himself because of my skin color.

3
RegularAmerican 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same here brother. I was always vocally against the war in Iraq and the Bush administration. Got called a lefty because I loved this country and didn't want to see my friends go over there which some did. One of my best friends is no longer with us because the army fucked him so bad.

2
Amaroq64 2 points ago +2 / -0

No way, our media and culture treated Bush the same way they treated Trump. Universal contempt and he couldn't do anything right without being made fun of.

Remembering how we treated Bush is one of the reasons I was more open-minded of Trump, because I saw how our media and culture treats Republicans like the scum of the earth while treating Democrats like angels.

1
IMMORTAN_TRUMP 1 point ago +1 / -0

That policy is an abject failure with regards to threats like China that use soft power. Sometimes you have to surprise attack. Trump should of nuked them within the first 5 minutes.

23
Megascandal 23 points ago +23 / -0

I'm willing to bet that both Macron and Merkel cheat to stay in power.

9
NvJohansson 9 points ago +9 / -0

They control the media, you know how that works.

9
Trump2024 9 points ago +9 / -0

The military is going to revolt soon. They've already flat out said they are giving the government a last warning before they start shredding the no go zones and forcibly evicting the refugees from France. Germany is even bigger pussies than the French but I'm pretty sure they will lockstep with the French to clean house. Marcon and Merkel don't have a chance. They've worn out the people's good nature.

2
NvJohansson 2 points ago +2 / -0

Germany is even bigger pussies than the French

Who are two counties who pounded each other in the trenches and lost a combined 2.5 million, and injured, crippled or disfigured another 7.5 million for $500, Alex?

6
Trump2024 6 points ago +6 / -0

I've lived in Germany off and on for 35+ years. They're huge pussies now. This is NOT your grandfather's Germany.

6
NvJohansson 6 points ago +6 / -0

I lived in Switzerland and Eastern France for a few years, one thing I like about the French is they get off their ass when it's time to resist or protest. They don't just sit there and whine on social media. They raise taxes on farmers, 5,000 farmers will dump all their crops in the middle of Paris. They piss off the middle class, yellow vest will monopolize the city for months.

4
Trump2024 4 points ago +4 / -0

Absolutely agree with you on this and it's the thrust of my point. The military is going to snap to and the countrymen are going to pick up pitchforks. The people are sick and tired of being so giving to the refugees and thanked by getting kicked in the face and raped in the ass. They've been willful pussies but when the military says enough the people are going to show the balls many people thought were gone forever. I joke too much about French being pussies. They were our greatest allies in our American Revolution and for that I will forever thank them and give them respect.

I had a chance to slap Angela Merkel.

Sat next to her at a pub in Hannover. With about 10 different secret service agents glaring at me.

I forever wonder how my life would be different if I slapped her. At very least spit in her bier.

This man will die a legend.

Regardless of the 'importance' of the victim this is still a minor assault which in most countries would be a warning, or convicted and discharged or convicted plus small fine or a diversion scheme. The fact this guy got 18months for a slap shows that there is no such thing as a justice system, justice is made up and only metered out in appropriate proportions when it suits.

iirc correctly (unlikely) without watching the vid or looking it up, that happened in the middle-east. In the middle-east showing someone the bottom of your shoe is a yuge insult, and throwing one at them even yuger... and if we run on the assumption that dubya is on the same team as whomever was running the country he was in at the time... a reporter going off-script and insulting him like that probably merits a different sentence than if it had been some random goatfucker.

NOW the interesting question is was that 3-year sentence more... or significantly less (i.e., beheading)... than would be meted out to said random goatfucker.

For sure throwing a shoe in Muslim countries is a huge insult. It's the same thing as people saying the guy should have punched Macron, but in France a slap in the face is much more humiliating because back in the old days it was a duel to the death.

I think the three year sentence was exemplary because they humiliated the potus and the pawn new prime minister of Iraq on the world stage. But then again if it was a random goat fucker they might have just taken him out in the back and shot him.

He was also tortured, or at least beaten to a bloody pulp with pressure points and limb twists applied, if I remember correctly.

Hmmm, I think I know what I'm doing in 18 months.

Guaranteed he'll never have to barter for a smoke in prison. Career thugs will make sure his days are carefree and cozy.

Slapping a regular civilian would never land you 18 months. Hope the poor dude makes it out. Sucks there is such a different standard if you lay a hand on the elite. They are the most deserving of a slap.

goddamn that's the fastest damn sentencing I've ever seen...didn't this slap happen a day or 2 ago?
