He’s a comedian extraordinaire, but the logic here is sound. You shouldn’t be proud of degenerate behavior.

Pride itself is a sin, but to be proud of a grave sin is even worse.

And to use a symbol of God's promise to us, as your symbol of your hedonism and wicked behavior...

As a straight man, I have never understood the "appeal" of anal sex. Don't get me wrong, I think every guy likes a nice ass. But I have never wanted to stick my dick on one. Because that's where shit comes from. And that's just inherently disgusting.

Vaginas were literally designed for sexual pleasure for both men and women. Like...it's their biological function.

14
slowmotrin 14 points ago +15 / -1

I remember an old 4chan post about the same thing, a guy said that he had had plenty of both ends and that the vagina was obviously made for a penis. Evolutionarily true, biologically true.

FireannDireach 10 points ago +13 / -3

Same here. I've never been so promiscuous or hedonistic that a vagina loses it's appeal. Or ever will. I have zero interest in anal, or anything related. But I get it, different strokes, yada yada - doesn't mean I want to watch it or hear about it.

When I was younger I had a bit of a complex for a while for being very vanilla when it came to sex. But as I got older, I just realized I was normal. Pushing sexual boundaries is not normal. If you're one of the brave few, your path is your choice, but I'm cool with boring old normal sex. Which still to this day isn't boring, or old.

2
ObongoForPrison2020 2 points ago +4 / -2

I have somewhat of a theory regarding your last paragraph - if we're being open and honest, the overwhelming majority of men and weapon engage in pre-marital sex. I don't judge because I have enthusiastically participated, but I do look down on general whoring around (for women and men). I don't think a high "body count" should be a topic of pride.

Now anyways, I think women nowadays are actually RELIEVED to find a sexual partner who is "normal" in bed, as you described. If you're good in bed, you're good in bed. And "vanilla" covers a lot in terms of sex, all of it pleasurable and fun. I think the 2000s notion that women are "sluts" is a combination result of a) hookup culture with strangers and B) the fact that a woman (physically and genetically more submissive) is likely to consent to the ridiculous sexual perversions men have developed for fear of their own safety.

I mean, if you're a guy who is really fucked in the head and you want to choke a woman until she passes out or engage in unprotected anal, isn't the stranger you just met tonight through an app the perfect person to try it with? You'd be far less likely to try that with someone you actually know or like because they would feel more comfortable telling you, "No, I'm not going to let you throat fuck me until I vomit." The woman you don't know might just go along with it because they're afraid you'll do it anyways. This is why the continuing consensus is that hookup culture ultimately destroys women. It's trauma they give consent for.

Most women are "vanilla" and want to be with men who are "vanilla." It's safe and still hot because sex is still more about the physical act.

I think you make some good points, and I think we're on the same page.

Don't get me started on porn. When I do bother, I seek out the old stuff, without the fake boobs and tattoos and "EXTREME EXTREME EXTREME ANAL" nonsense, or more disturbing, the flood of incest porn. (Broken homes = sexualized mommy and step siblings.)

You know what's sexy? A woman who loves me. That's all I need.

I know tons of us pedes are religious, but I always try to argue against the LGBTXYZ+=£€%# agenda secularly.

There’s tons of reasons to fight against their agenda, with plenty of material to back us up without bringing God into the argument. Simply saying “God says it’s bad” doesn’t win arguments with people that don’t believe in God.

9
becray3point0 9 points ago +10 / -1

The fact that it triggers tells you it's a win because if it triggers, they feel convicted. That conviction could lead to being saved through the blood of Jesus. All you have to do is believe in Jesus as your savior.

8
honolulu_blue 8 points ago +10 / -2

I agree. My argument is that most of us are libertarian enough to not care what you do in your bedroom. We take issue with what is brought into our kids classrooms, ( and our TVs).

For example, wr don’t object to a fourth grade teacher who likes to smoke cigarettes or have a whiskey. But we don’t believe she should allowed have them or advocate them in the classroom.

7
thisguy883 7 points ago +8 / -1

This.

I never use to care what you did in the privacy of your own home, but now gays are essentially shouting what they do to the world every June and I'm fucking sick of it.

Either be gay in private and enjoy life, or fucking stand in line for the rope, because its coming. The only downside is that it isnt coming fast enough.

1

This is why libertarians will always lose. Depravity never stays in the bed room.

6
MauserShooter 6 points ago +7 / -1

That’s actually why we are using. To pretend that their is even such a thing as secular is to lose the argument immediately.

Just call it a sin, they know it. They are only suppressing the truth, see romans 1.

5
MerlynTrump 5 points ago +6 / -1

I get your point. But most people do believe in God. I guess it's important to tailor your argument to your audience. Citing scripture won't work on an atheist, but it could work on a Christian.

Less pride more humility

10
TheOutlawPepeWales 10 points ago +10 / -0

Less lust and more chastity. It doesn't matter if you're gay or straight, nobody should be flaunting their sex life in public. Especially around little kids. Secular humanists will say they don't need God to be moral people, but looking around it's pretty obvious that they do. Without that guiding star, principled framework, and sense of reverence for all the things that He has made (especially the temple of your body) society devolves into a hedonistic cesspit where the only standard of behavior is "do whatever feels good". As a recovering alcoholic I can assure you that's no path to a happy and healthy life, or a stable and virtuous society. Indulging in unholy temporary pleasures for their own sake doesn't create anything that lasts. Nobody has to believe my words, the last ten thousand years of human history provide plenty of hard evidence of what happens to cultures that no longer value anything except fulfilling their beastly desires. I'm sure that's exactly what the enemies of America would like to see happen, but we have to be better than that. There's too much at stake to allow this fall from glory.

Lust is a sin too but I’ve never seen anyone here have a problem with the excessively sexual and explicit comments about hot women. If people truly cared about sin, they wouldn’t only bring it up when it’s useful as a weapon against people they dislike while giving themselves and others a free pass.

That's not really what he's saying, he's simply saying being homosexual is not an accomplishment and therefore shouldn't be a source of celebration.

10
Akula69 10 points ago +11 / -1

Exactly. Could you imagine having a "green eye pride month"? Or how about "I am proud of my IBS positive son" which is a stretch, because you actually have to watch what you eat? It just doesn't make sense. It also gives weak people an out to be an underachiever yet celebrated.

6
newrandomperson 6 points ago +6 / -0

3
BPasFuck 3 points ago +4 / -1

5
pelosis_liver 5 points ago +6 / -1

2
I_have_lady_parts 2 points ago +3 / -1

That exists for redheads tbh

7
Dunkin4COVAIDS 7 points ago +9 / -2

And it's not just about being homosexual, it's the same with having pride in one's skin color, nationality, and so on. Pride in something you never worked for or achieved is hollow sinful pride.

6
TheOutlawPepeWales 6 points ago +6 / -0

I don't know about you but I've been busting my balls for my nationality. Keeping a country intact and on a righteous road is no easy task.

5
FireannDireach 5 points ago +6 / -1

I don't even mind pride, as I can see the others sides argument that they're proud to be openly gay, and not in the closet.

Wait, that's not what it's all about. My bad. "Pride' in SF is men in leather and bondage gear getting blowjobs in the street in front of children. Google "Folsom Street Fair" if you have a strong stomach.

If two men want to be in a long term, loving relationship and not wear their sexuality on their sleeve and aren't political, I have no issues with you at all. But "Pride" these days is a freak show of deviance and fetish and hedonism. I know the gay community isn't all about that, but the minority in that community and the media are pushing hard to make it seem like it.

Besides, 'I'm proud of my gay son" is some of the older virtue signaling going on, it's about the father, not the gay son. It's about the father bending a knee to his political gay son's agenda, participating in a public display. You don't need a reason to be proud of your son, if you raised him right.

FireannDireach 6 points ago +7 / -1

This. Letterman's talent was his writing staff, and having on guests early on in the 80's nobody else would have on, like Pee Wee. The first decade of Letterman was funny as hell because he had quality writers who were trying to break away from the late night format and have fun, and it worked. I used to stay up late when I was younger, I'd put Carson on as background noise, and saw Letterman's first show when he replaced Snyder - which was a great show at times with the new bands he'd have on.

Guys like Chris Elliot made Letterman funny.

Comedy has cycles, like everything else, and the last good one is spent. We're just in the doldrums of the current slate of nobodies and hacks. It'll go back underground a bit, and new stars will rise, eventually. It's like music and movies - it's just a universal grind to a halt across the board, as the corporations have killed another golden goose and trying us to sell parts of the decomposing carcass.

It will all rise again, but it might take a while. I used to go to comedy clubs a lot in my 30's and 40's, and it's a wasteland now compared to what it was at times back then.

The only good thing is with the internet, some of them can still work, like Norm.

The original logic behind gay "pride" was that there was a time when being openly homosexual did require some courage as it had the potential for backlash. That time is long gone for most gay people, where they are more likely to be praised and any criticism is smashed down by the cancel culture hammer.

For example, I could see how a gay person in Pakistan was proud to not be stoned to death yet lol.

I had a typo in the last bit. “Hard to say”. You probably caught that. That part was funny too. “A reoccurring character”. The memory loss in the first full chapter made me laugh harder than I should have. I wonder if theirs any truth to it. Might explain all the Michael Jackson jokes.

It really was. I’m barely middle aged and I can’t recall many stories others tell me. I only recall the stories I recall often. I moved away from where I grew up 16 yrs ago. When I see people I hear stuff I maybe recall somewhat. It was pure genius. The guy is brilliant.

Cuts through the bullshit

There is no pride in sexual acts, it is a private affair. Do you boast about it to your coworkers?

Amazingly cutting and concise

He has a sketch album called “Ridiculous” that can’t be made today. He has a sketch about a country singer called Tex Hooper and another about the 1st two gay men. The Tex Hooper one is great. I’ll leave this 3 minute story by Jim Breuer about Norm getting kicked out of Iowa (a slight exaggeration). It’s a true story. It’s fits right in with the conversation. Breuers story about Norm and Chris Kattan and the SNL twilight zone sketch is a great story too. https://youtu.be/gBKlXR3BbDU

That's pretty much what it is.

Some where there are clowns who are in on the joke. Just laughing at all the new wave faggots who've LARP meme'd a cock into their ass and mouth.

Just laughing. "They're actually doing it!" Haha "They're really calling it "pride" too!" Haha

Dennis Miller is awesome. He had a radio show for a few years. He's Conservative. He got so fed up with what's going on in the world today that he's quit twice, though. His most recent show just ended a few months ago. I expect him to be in a year or so.

His latest podcast show is still available. It's called The All New Dennis Miller Option. i highly recommend. He has a lot of right-leaning comedians on it.

He had a couple small movies parts, too - most notably Joe Dirt, and a very forgotten movie called "Madhouse" with John Larroquette and Kirstie Alley (she was smoking hot in this). But I think he turned his back on that rat race, which is probably for the best - the movie world sucks you dry intellectually and morally and ethically.

My only rag on Miller is he was awful commenting on Monday night football. His high brow references were annoying when all you cared about was having $20 on the game and are wondering when the next batch of buffalo wings are coming out. A.K.A...the good old days.

He strings together a bunch of random references that nobody understands... think of Cliff Clavin from Cheers, but faster and nonstop for 10 minutes. He was also a regular on fox news and monday night football for no apparent reason.

5
paperairplanes 5 points ago +6 / -1

He had a really popular radio show and podcast. He's a known right-leaning commentator on today's politics and wokeness. He has plenty of credentials, like being on SNL and knowing how Hollywood operates. He's super smart with an incredibly intelligent vocab. He's better than 99% of the commentators they have on.

I live Norm. When he was hosting that thing a few years back with Sarah Silverman out during a parade or something and you could tell he made the progressive comedians uncomfortable because A.) they will never br as funny and B.) "that sounds like a bunch of commie gobbeldy gook."

Ill see if i can find it.

Updated: Here, Norm is the only reason to ever watch a Youtube live shoe. https://youtu.be/A848xpsDJbw Starting at 4:08 he gets on a Hitler joke that isnt approved so they want to pull off him they are in all the hosts ears.

Yeah he is super square. He did laugh when Norm called him an Acid Tongued Arab so I thought he might not be as bad as the others.
