For everyone who doesn't know, there's no such thing as "First annual" anything. To be annual means it runs yearly, the first time out you have no idea if it will be held next year despite all intentions to do so. The term you're all looking for here is "inaugural". Then, in years following you should be titling your even as "x annual".

Saying "first annual" can still be a correct statement if the event is the first of a planned annual event.
