....but Schindler's List is fiction.

Like it's literally a fictional book made up by an author....wtf?

*This turned into something unintended....so to clarify the fictional book "Schindler's List" is a work of fiction loosely based on real events. Much like the the movie Titanic is based on a real boat sinking.

All due respect and I try not to upset others myself, but we have a right to free speech in America.

Sometimes others' expressions and beliefs dont align. We are all complex individuals with a multitude of diffenrt beliefs & experiences.

Trying to control others speech and not offend everyone is what is hurting our country.

It's ok to just not like stuff we read and not take it personally

anne frank's diary is a work of fiction too. was written by her fucking dad with BALLPOINT INK after the war. ballpoint ink didn't become widespread until the 1950s. LMAO at wikipedia now trying to laughably and fraudulently claim that ballpoint pens were invented in 1888 when that is a load of horseshit. the modern ballpoint pen which was proven to be what was used in the frank diary (written by her DAD while pretending to be her after the war, btw) is from the 1950s.

25
HuggableBear 25 points ago +36 / -11

It wasn't written by her dad, it was copied by her dad for readability. There are plenty of propaganda books out there that we can criticize without leaning into lunacy.

–HuggableBear 23 points 3 hours ago +27 / -4 It wasn't written by her dad, it was copied by her dad for readability. There are plenty of propaganda books out there that we can criticize without leaning into lunacy.

That's not quite true. Many things are coming out now about Elie Wiesel and Anne Frank, two of the lions of the holocaust claims. (A real holocaust survivor claims Elie not only does not have the tattoo, he stole this man's dad's number for his book...)

We need to step back from what the MSM told us and take a harder look. Yes, people suffered in the camps. No they were not burned alive (check out the Auschwitz prison photos -- the supposed "oven" had WOODEN DOORS! The chimney was added later and is not connected to that room.) There was a horrible typhus epidemic in the camp, so most of their clothing was burned.

But they had a lot of other things, including many babies being born, that belie the stories we were told. The one thing that redpilled me was when a Red Cross worker was interviewed right at the end of the war and said he didn't see any cremation ovens except for those who had died of Typhus or natural causes. I was Incensed (pun not inetended...) I thought, "How could he claim that!?!?!"

Then I started looking into it. There are some compelling questions, including, "During a war of that size, when fuel was at premium, why would they use it to cremate people alive?" and "They needed all the workers they could get. This was a work camp. You might not make it a walk in the park, but you don't kill workers you need." And this one, "If 6 million Jews were killed, why did the Jewish population of Europe only drop by several hundred thousand after the war?" Also - do a quick search on the internet on this phrase: "6 million Jews." You will be astounded at the number of times that comes up going back to the 1800's. It may be like the Bible, where the word "Thousand" just means "LOTS." As in "Methuselah was a thousand years old."

Bottom line for me anymore -- EVERYTHING FROM "HISTORY" IS A LIE UNTIL I CAN FIND PROOF IT IS TRUE.

Also - why can't we have an intellectual conversation about this? Why are the 15 websites I had in my resource list coming up with a "DNS not found" or a "403?" Why did I even find these sites in the Wayback machine erased from the Internet? Remember, "If you would know who runs the world, pay attention to whom you are not allowed to criticize..." For reference, I did find this: https://web.archive.org/web/20170215212140/https://holocaustdeprogrammingcourse.com/

Now I'm not saying it's all true, but hey, we should be able to read it and decide for ourselves, or do our own research... just sayin'

BTW - just to keep the triggering down to a minimum, I'm Jewish.

Don’t laugh, Anne Frank died in the death camps infirmary when she became sick. They tried to save her, so they could kill her!

10
ParadigmShift2070 10 points ago +11 / -1

that's just how death camps work. you collect them, move them around hundreds of miles between different camps and then try to sustain their lives in the infirmaries, all to kill them more efficiently in a future date, right?

7
marvinthehaggler 7 points ago +11 / -4

Sorry but... Anne Frank probably did not exist.

1
TDBabyBite 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why?

2
Verrerogo 2 points ago +2 / -0

She was in Bergen Belsen. It was a labor camp. They worked you to death and more were always coming. She died of typhus. Typhus always comes when there are bad conditions.

This is a long page.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bergen-Belsen_concentration_camp

"...They were in Belsen supposedly to recover and then return to their original camps and resume work, but many of them died in Belsen of disease, starvation, exhaustion and lack of medical attention.[12]

In August 1944, a new section was created and this became the so-called "women's camp". By November 1944 this camp received around 9,000 women and young girls. Most of those who were able to work stayed only for a short while and were then sent on to other concentration camps or slave-labour camps. The first women interned there were Poles, arrested after the failed Warsaw Uprising. Others were Jewish women from Poland or Hungary, transferred from Auschwitz.[12] Margot and Anne Frank died there in February or March 1945.[13] "

...

"Numbers then soared to around 60,000 by April 15, 1945.[7] This overcrowding led to a vast increase in deaths from disease: particularly typhus, as well as tuberculosis, typhoid fever, dysentery and malnutrition in a camp originally designed to hold about 10,000 inmates. At this point also, the special status of the exchange prisoners no longer applied. All inmates were subject to starvation and epidemics.[14] Außenlager (satellite camps)

Bergen-Belsen concentration camp had three satellite camps. ".....

19
coolhandcuke 19 points ago +19 / -0

Allegedly, he found it when he went back to the Secret Annex, but most everything else had been destroyed.

Actually, it's hard to picture Otto Frank writing romantic things about the boy who stayed with them, pretending it's Anne having a crush.

13
side_o_beef 13 points ago +28 / -15

Dude was probably jerking it every time he wrote a paragraph. These people are sick.

3
Verrerogo 3 points ago +3 / -0

The diary had been snatched by their Christian friend, Miep.

She could walk around freely, unlike the Franks, and so she went back to their empty hiding place after they were taken. She grabbed a hair-combing cape of Anne's because she loved Anne and wanted to give it back to her someday to see her smile, she said. Anne had a wide and sweet smile.

Miep saw the diary on the table and grabbed it too.

That's what Miep wrote.

anne frank's diary, is fiction though. written by her father after the war with ballpoint pen which didn't exist until the 1950s. wikipedia laughably tries to change history by now claiming ballpoint pens existed since 1888. just because people figured out that the frank diary is a fraud and was done by her dad in order to exploit his own daughter's suffering and death during WWII.

You are no longer distinguishable from leftists. You behave to "us" like leftists behave to you. I debated a lot of people over the past ~5 years to easily recognize this. What happened?

Btw, neither "storm" nor "fag" makes any sense. "Storm" - not sure what that's about at all, "fag" - we are not exactly fans of those. We don't even think alike - we have a lot of disagreements, but we still have civil discourses.

It's just ONE singular topic that makes you go feral. ONE single topic. Fascinating, isn't it?

Its a long assed movie where you see the gradual erosion of rights. Its a vivid tall or lesson about what can happen when you allow government too much control. Its meant to shock and frighten you. You watch as a people are herded up for their own protection, concentrated and stripped of rights one by one. Then the violence starts, and it never ends, it gets worse each time. The true sickening scale unfolding before your eyes.

But, there is always hope.

Leftish 12 points ago +12 / -0

Bushwookiee07 22 points ago +24 / -2

Oskar Schindler was a real person credited for saving over 1000 Jews, but the book/movie aren’t exactly historically accurate. It’s more than likely that he didn’t actually have much to do with the list of names. I actually think he was in jail for part of it, could be wrong though. It’s a half truth at best in my opinion.

4
conservativefrank 4 points ago +8 / -4

So you think there were no death camps?

9
ProudWhiteMan 9 points ago +16 / -7

No but my supposition is this, the majority of the holocaust victims died from disease and starvation not from systemic genocide, before you say "so they didn't kill any jews?" no I am not saying that. This little fact kind of ruins the genocide narrative since the allies were blocking Nazi supply routes in a sense they'd have been a casualty of that disruption.

Anyways go back to not questioning 80% of what you know but hey you're aware Biden stole Trump's election the lies stop there and everything else that we've been taught is beyond reproach and obviously the truth. You probably saw a Holocaust survivor in high school with the tattoo, who went there to talk about how awful it was got their speaker fees, sold their books, and did the same thing in different school the next week. Meanwhile if they find a SS concentration camp guard, who was ordered to be there, they immediately get the death penalty and never speak their truth which is not weird at all when you consider there isn't a death penalty in any European country.

You guys know this is whats done in for drug users?

They have to take DUI classes along with alcohol people who get pulled over at 0.05 and are still called legally drunk due to "they failed the tests".

Both groups have to submit themselves to struggle sessions of "education about drugs and alcohol" or face jail time.

Im surprised you people are surprised about re-education and indoctrination under duress by the state.

You already have it for people who don't want to be imprisoned for drug/alcohol use.

5
rebelde_sin_causa 5 points ago +6 / -1

What's different here is the legal equation, by the court, of Trump support with racism (as if racism is a crime, but that's another subject)

Or was it the defendant who made that equation in her pathetic supplication to the court

3
Jimmyprawns 3 points ago +4 / -1

Equating sober people excercising thier rights with drug addicts and alcoholics whose addictions and poor decision making have caused tangible damage reduces the value of your argument to below zero.

-1
nankingRoastie -1 points ago +1 / -2

No cunt.

If struggle sessions are a violation of the individual, it doesnt matter who it is.

"the problem with standing for liberty is one spends a lot of time defending the rascals of society".

Not all "alcoholics" cause car crashes. More people who speed cause car crashes. More people who text cause car crashes. Not all marijuana users cause car crashes.

Similarly, not all people at the capitol were violent.

But they are being lumped in with those who caused "tangible damage".

So fuck you.

Well there is a certain group that really profits from pushing a certain narrative in regard to that whole time. And considering that group owns Hollywood and all the socialist media platforms...

It's WW2 fan fiction, based on real events.

Read "Giants in the Earth" if anyone thinks it was a cake-walk for immigrant farmers in Minnesota and the Dakotas.

27
Pittsburgh_Rare 27 points ago +27 / -0

If you arrive somewhere and build a civilization where one did not exist before, you are not an immigrant, you are a settler.

If you come to an already built civilization to take up residence and/or employment there, you are an immigrant.

7
Mathelm 7 points ago +7 / -0

Literally had to sit through a University governance meeting couple months ago where some DEAN referred to herself as a settler and apologized to all the dark skinned natives for stealing their land.

Took every ounce of strength to not bust out laughing at her.
Like A) did you steal the land? no. It's not stolen it's conquered, and built up.
B) Are you 200+ years old? No. Then you aren't a fucking settler, you are a descendant of people who struggled their entire lives dodging kings, and native attacks, and somehow managed to have children without dying.

I'm almost at the point where an actual facist could run for office and I'd say, "fuck it. liberals and soy and simps to GITMO."

I can provide a much, much better reading list to 'learn about American history not being taught in school' . . . most of which will be primary source material written directly by the people who were there.

We need to restore our American education system, especially the civics and history components. Until then, get your kids out of the public school system.

2
247MAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

I would love to have a copy of that list!

3
starsabove 3 points ago +3 / -0

Reposting for you.

Understand this isn't intended to be a complete list of every writing regarding America's history either. Nor is it in any particular order, though I would start with 'The American Story' by the Bartons. Its thoroughly sourced, and added several books to my library.

Of particular note, the only books in this list that show up in High School civics are probably the Federalist and Anti Federalist Papers and Paine's Common Sense.

  • The American Story, David & Tim Barton
  • The Federalist Papers
  • The Anti Federalist Papers
  • The History of the Rise, Progress, and Termination of the American Revolution, Vol 1-3, Mercy Otis Warren
  • Common Sense, Thomas Paine
  • Lives of the Signers to the Declaration of Independence, Charles Augustus Goodrich (There's a companion to this called 'Wives' but its out of print and often hard to find)
  • The Colored Patriots of the American Revolution, William Cooper Nell (I believe this one is an especially important read because most of the non-white Patriots were wiped from history by Woodrow Wilson. Several show up in the 1876 Centennial History of the United States, but disappear in material published after 1920s)
  • A Narrative of Ethan Allen's Captivity (Just a fun read from a true badass during the Revolution)
  • Paul Revere's Ride, David Hackett Fischer (Bit dry and bogs down in seemingly useless detail but a comprehensive work on April 19th 1775)
  • Maxims of Washington: Political, Social, Moral, and Religious, George Washington (Note, look for the unabridged version, modern versions cut most of the Religious content as well as the introductions from those in Washington's personal circle. Its hard to maintain the myth that Washington was a non religious deist when you read these parts, which is why modern versions cut them)
  • Democracy in America, Alexis de Tocqueville (Same as Washington's Maxims, find an unabridged or older copy. Modern editions cut mot of de Tocqueville's observations on Christianity)
  • Washington's Immortals, Patrick K O'donnell
  • The Indispensables: The Diverse Soldier-Marines who shaped the Country, formed the Navy, and rowed Washington across the Delaware, Patrick K O'donnell
  • Benjamin Rush; Signer of the Declaration of Independence, David Barton
  • Works of Fisher Ames, Vol 1 & 2, Fisher Ames; Compiled by Seth Ames
  • Battle Cry of Freedom, James McPherson (Civil War era, but a great read)

Via the Library of America:

  • The American Revolution: Writings from the War of Independence, 1775-1783
  • The American Revolution: Writings from the Pamphlet Debate, 1764-1772
  • The American Revolution: Writings from the Pamphlet Debate, 1773-1776

Going a bit further back;

  • Political Sermons of the American Founding era, 1730-1805 Vol 1&2, Assorted clergyman. (Important read because these significant influences on the views of the Founders)
  • The First and Second Treatise of Government, John Locke
  • Rights of Man, John Stuart Mill
  • The Live and Voyages of Christopher Columbus, Washington Irving (As close to primary source documents as one can get and does an admirable job in detailing why Columbus was so revered until the late 20th century.)
  • Lectures on Moral Philosophy, John Witherspoon
  • Noah Webster's Advice to the Young and Moral Catechism

How are they pushing this bizarre narrative that 1/6 had anything at all to do with race?

18
Chopblock 18 points ago +18 / -0

The nonsensically-racialized term “Whiteness” being applied to anything and everything ‘that annoys you’ by race-hate grifter marxists being financed by taxpayer money allows virtually any action or expression to be characterized as “White Supremacy”, even longstanding traditional activities unrelated to race, and specifically anything that is opposed by Marxism.

Garland’s announcement effectively criminalizes “whiteness” as a national security threat akin to terrorism , and invokes two additional alarming aspects: A method for (A) Using FISA to target ANYONE using this conflation of “whiteness” and “White Supremacist Ideology”; and (B) Explicitly using RACE as a qualifier in order to NOT apply equal protection for enforcement decisions.

The legal precedent for these is as follows:

(A) — “On appeal Abu-Jihaad challenged the 2006 recorded telephone conversations which had been intercepted under an authorized FISA warrant. His challenged was premised on the theory that (1) FISA violated the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution; and (2) the FISA requirements were not adhered to in his case. The Second Circuit rejected both challenges, deferring to two FISA Review Court decisions rendered in 2002 and 2008 respectively which rejected challenges similar to the ones raised by Abu-Jihaad: In re Sealed Case and In re FISA Section 105B Directives. Interestingly, besides these two cases, the FISA Review Court, which was set up to review FISA Court determinations, has only convened one other time to hear FISA-related matters emanating from the FISA Court; hardly confidence inspiring oversight.”

https://www.hg.org/legal-articles/the-corruption-of-fisa-21210

(B) — “Not only is the federal definition of domestic terrorism malleable, but the FBI also eliminated safeguards to protect against abusive practices after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, even claiming that it can conduct investigations with little or no suspicion of wrongdoing. Under President Barack Obama, the departments of Justice and Homeland Security issued Guidance on Race, prohibiting biased profiling generally but permitting it in the context of national and border security.”

People here still don't understand clown world.

In clown world, whiteness isn't a race. It's a social construct that white people are permanently and inescapable attached too but ANYONE can be guilty of Whiteness.

Whiteness is anything and everything that is Constitutional or has lead to the creation of the Constitution (all European history). Whiteness is working for your money and keeping it. Whiteness is private property. Whiteness is capitalism. Whiteness is a Constitution Republic based on the rule of law. Whiteness is being able to defend yourself from an out of control state.

The only cure to Whiteness is communism.

So if you throw all the 'trained to be self-loathing' shit away from this story, supposedly parades, demonstrations and protests are illegal in the capitol.

I dont like to go all Randy Marsh.. but I thought this was America! Is the capitol a foreign territory not subject to US laws or the constitution.. and who the fuck is doing arrests and with what authority if no laws apply?

If this is what the protestors are being charged with, it all stinks of bullshit. Maybe the capitol police and judges should be in solitary confinement, and not protestors.

Bodiazrising 9 points ago +9 / -0

Well, there are over 400 comments here already, so I guess I'll be the one to point out something it appears most here have missed....

She (and/or her lawyer) is fucking trolling the court.

Those three books are based on events where the Government went all tyrannical on a group of people.

Wounded Knee was a straight up massacre of hundreds of Lakota Indians. Just Mercy is about a lawyer representing wrongly convicted innocent people. And Schindler's List, of course, German Nazis madness.

She didn't go read White Privilege, or Howard Zinn, or Chomsky. She didn't read some woke bullshit. She read stories of the GOVERNMENT oppressing free people!!!

I admit I haven't read the Yahoo article in full, but just by going off of this screenshot, I can't help but see that she is "educating" herself on the end game of when free people are wronged by their government. JUST LIKE SHE WAS!

Downvote this if you want - but my gut says, this is a high-level educated troll.

Well........ she says she watched Schindler's List to educate herself about government policy toward European Jews. Maybe she's trolling the judge. The message of Schindler's List is that sometimes the government is evil and must be opposed by taking up arms. That's not really what happened on the 6th, but again, if she was trolling she is doing a pretty good job.

The Nazis tied a rope around her neck but offered her a way out. All she has to do is reveal her comrades' and leaders' identities. Lepa responded: “You will know them when they come to avenge me.”
