If you don't mind my asking, what was/is you vitamin D status? Were you/are you on the Standard American diet (vegetable oils, processed carbs, and high fructose corn syrup)?

Ding ding ding - we have a winner.

It isn't the "standard American diet" though, it is the "food they make available." Even the shelf bought salad dressing first ingredient is soybean oil or canola oil. It is sad.

Right, and sad is its name! The SAD is a term used to describe the industrial foodstuffs that fuel the great majority of illnesses Americans suffer. It also fuels the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
