“Experts” is code for bullshit, just like “fact checks.”

It’s like studies showing different races have different intellectual abilities. We’ll just ignore that, and if you bring it up you’re a bigot 🙄

Right. Everyone knows the differences in athletic ability but as soon as you bring up mental ability differences, everyone freaks out.

“Interview” studies, or any study that’s self reported, don’t have much veracity. That’s why the “science” in the humanities is so fucked up, because there isn’t any scientific rigor. Like repeatable experiments.

Basically it’s taking the plural of “anecdote” and claiming it’s “data.”

I’m sure growing up with same-sex parents is tougher for kids, but it’s not always because of their parents, it’s because they’re different than the other kids.

I believe the idea is we’re veering farther away from ‘ideal’ in the name of sexuality over procreation. At least from a science and spiritual context.

Kids will benefit more from not only straight parents- but BOTH parents involved. It’s become far too easy to alienate kids from fathers in the face of ‘idealism’...
