Even this film is getting criticism from the woke for not including black people of dark coloring.Wokeness will never be enough. After all the whites are bred out through race mixing, the next line of defense for SJWs will be skin color and facial features. Mixed people with white features and light skin will be attacked. It will never end!

Biden will pass a law forcing theaters to show "important" movies even if nobody wants to see them.

Lol, that's fine! Let the theaters play those woke movies, in complete empty rooms. Electric bill ain't cheap at a theater.

They already do this, then they try to prop it up further by giving it bogus “Oscar” awards.

failure will be the new success. It’s already a thing in politics and entertainment.

I love how the author points out that will Smith, Denzel Washington, the Rock, and Michael B Jordan exist. Completely undercuts the lie that minorities are rarely cast as leads.

I never even knew this movie existed until I heard a cum town episode where they were making fun of it. This looks really retarded because on the surface its a movie targetted to a very niche audience of New York Puerto Ricans, but then its presented in this way to appeal to gay upper class democrat white boomers, while also appearing cringy and "racist" to zoomers and millennials of that demographic.

This really is just pure globalist propaganda at this point. Pure delusion that assumes this post racial America will be a POC utopia of people dancing in the streets and shit.

Who would spend dime on that?

The idea was they would cash in on the wild success of “Hamilton” and the supposed bonanza of pride month by smashing them together.

Turns out the wild success of Hamilton was limited to what a small theater could hold and promoting pride month is a loser for business outside of the Castro district of SF and other homo areas. The other 99.9999999% of America sees a pride flag and looks for a different place to do business.

Honestly, I heard about 1 minute of Hamilton and developed acute ear cancer. Miranda’s idea of “rap” is slightly less accurate than Warren Beatty’s in Bullworth. Completely wack, and this is coming from someone who does actually like rap.

I listened to a podcast a few years ago and the podcaster, a minor celebrity actress (Casey Wilson), was making fun of Hamilton because she and her husband had just seen it and thought it was completely ridiculous. She said she couldn't stop laughing at it, it was so bad. She couldn't understand how it had gotten so many raves.

The woke mob came for because of that and she had to issue a public apology on her own podcast for her own opinion and say she was wrong the next week. I stopped listening after that because she had no backbone or courage.

Hamilton is a great example of how the left uses social media to hype and astroturfs subjects they want to promote.

On its own it's laughably bad and theres no two ways about it, but there are plenty of people on social media that were (and still are) willing to amplify the hype because it makes them feel important to be in on something the perceive as "major".

What is so stunning about what they pulled off with Hamilton is how effective the hype is at making YOU think you're crazy. You MUST be crazy, right? You heard a little of the musical and it sounded like a bad joke. No, no.. it can't be THIS popular. YOU must be crazy for hearing it and laughing at how bad it is.

You just have to admit you see five lights. That's all there is to it.

You've explain that so well.

It's really pathetic. I know people that have spent thousands on tickets to it. I guess they're too invested to admit it sucked.

It's sad when people don't believe their own eyes and ears and the opinions of others matter more to them than what they actually feel and think. That's why we're in the mess we're in today, I suppose.

I walked into my sisters house a while back and she had it on the TV. I immediately started making fun of it (because it's fucking asinine) particularly making fun of the hilarious "rap" in it.

She was not amused. I could tell I hurt her feelings by making fun of the precious and she turned it off.

Lol, I mean that's what siblings do, anyway. But you owed it to her to mock Hamilton and let her see how dumb it was - you did her a service.

Everybody. Literally every body knew this movie would bomb. There’s only pockets of fags in urban areas that would even consider watching it for free, much less travel outside their Grindr hookup dens to be in DANGEROUS PUBLIC to see it.

Keep it up, pedowood. Keep digging your own grave. The theater model is broken forever and this kind of bullshit only reminds normal people (who are the VAST majority) that you have no interest in our business anymore!

BeyondCoincidence 2 points ago +2 / -0

The actors in that movie do not look or speak like the majority of the Central American illegals in the US. It’s so fake.

booblitchutz 3 points ago +3 / -0

Miranda is a shitty writer. He’s being puffed up by the media and big tech because he’s a non white queer that wrote a garbage musical that disrespects the founding fathers and reimagines history the way the communist left likes.

He’s a talentlesss little sissy mary.

Diversity hires in entertainment, just like every other industry, are producing lower quality productions. No more excellence and exceptionalism in America.

"Ashley Lee declares that the film industry “will have to learn to define the ‘success’ of a film more broadly than in dollars and cents” if it wants to fix its 'intractable diversity problems.' "

Money will always talk. It will get its 'success' at award ceremonies...which people don't watch anymore, either. CRASH AND BURN!

I think they made a bad movie on purpose just so they can claim that no one watched because they are racist.

Also, aren't all movies made by minorities anyways?

MAG_n_KAG 1 point ago +1 / -0

plus, its a musical. it was already an uphill climb. add wokeness to it and what do you expect?

Listen, this movie was a success! Twitter and the marketing made it clear, this movie is not for me. See, I'm a white people and we're bad and don't deserve musical theater. SO, I'm not paying any money to watch it. SEE, they succeeded! Clown world losing is winning! LOL
